I see it also says this on the French wiki, with a bit more detail. It's the first I've heard of it though, does anyone know the source for this?

That's kind of crazy. I guess it may have been a prerelease thing in the poster.

Maybe the poster is the source in question?

Hello!

I've merged this topic with another one where we've discussed other Rayman icebergs, to avoid confusion
I can't say I'm familiar with everything in there… What's the "Simulation Theory"? And what's this about Mister Dark and Space Mama swapping worlds?

There is an explanation for the second one in the image from the first post. I don't know much about R1, so I'm just going to leave a quote:
Space Mama and Mr Dark swapped levels
Mama's weapon is a rolling pin, the pirates in Picture City use frying pans. They would be more at home in a food based world.

The simulation theory is essentially a theory that raymans world is simulated, not much else to it that I’m aware of

I see… So it's not that different from Elon Musk's theory that this world is simulated then?

Oh yeah, that thing… I'm not sure if I talked about it before. Space Mama and her minions use domestic-themed items, where the connection to food is only incidental. And then Mister Dark lives in a gingerbread house cause he's the Big Bad. The idea that they swapped worlds just doesn't ring true for me…
Lore ideas?

There’s already like,10 threads about that. But we decided it’s all a dream so it doesn’t need to XD

Welcome back! And yes, we can try, but it is unfortunately sanity-sapping thanks to a load of throwaway stuff put together by game devs who didn't seem to care that it didn't make sense. I'm personally happy to accept the original trilogy,
possibly Rayman M, at least some of the
Rabbids games, and Origins and Legends as being part of a single canon. This is of course with the proviso that the relic stories are just made-up legends, and not a "true" retelling of how Rayman got his hair, or how Globox "came to be" blue. I'm also not sure about my current position on the identity of the Magician(s). Actually, since I dug up Sabertooth's post on the Rabbids games to link it here, I think it's also worth quoting:
Sabertooth wrote: Mon Jan 04, 2016 9:43 am
everything can be canon, and it's fun to mentally work out where everything fits. Yes, the Rayman series as of late does not concern itself with continuity, but why should that stop us, as fans, from having fun with the games' world?
BUUUT yeah, not everybody agrees on that, and some are more comfortable with the "shut up, it's just a dream" explanation
Btw, since we've already merged quite few topics into this one, I wonder if we should also merge this into the original lore thread (which contains the above Sabertooth quote)…

I've seen a lot of people say that it wasn't logical that Globox was red because his children are blue, but he simply became blue before he had children, that's how dna works right ? The color blue was passed on to his children, that's why Uglette is pink, and same for the red magicians, there are his children in Revolution, but is Revolution canon ?

That was an ancient myth passed through the glade of dreams, about as real as Norse mythology

Um, no? Your DNA is what you're conceived with, and whatever DNA ends up in your reproductive organs is what will be passed onto your children. The only way that can change is if you're unlucky enough for it to get corrupted by toxic chemicals or radiation. Case in point: someone whose hand needs to be amputated will not end up having children missing a hand.

So you say it is illogical according to DNA then?
Also, another point is that hardly any of globoxes children are blue, which everybody ignores for whatever reason

All the kids who appear in the original (PC/N64) version are coloured identically to their father. There are hundreds.

…….
Anyways, it was never mentioned why Uglette was pink. Or why so many children are blue, but not many pink ones are in the family.
