That's been very entertaining to watch so far! I especially like the creative use of plums, the grimace, and how you reused the spiky vines from Rayman Junior!

I added a quick version of the template on Rayfanpedia for now.

By the way, shouldn't we update the main post here with the download link?
People stumbling upon the topic might not even know that the project is out!

This is such an awesome game. I love how you reused the tiny notes from Mr Sax's bombs and put them in the Band Land levels, they are both incredibly cute and dangerous at the same time.

The only problem I have is that sometimes, you're supposed to drop down to get a cage or a life, but I see no indication of that. In the original game, there is always a Ting somewhere to show you that you're not about to commit suicide. Maybe this should be made clearer in Rayman Expert too?

If anyone is playing Rayman Expert or looking to download it...

I've taken the download link down for the time being to apply some bug fixes and to make some level tweaks due to some issues such as some cage locations being too hidden and to change some parts that where way too difficult or the object timing didn't line up correctly.

If you are playing it, maybe leave it for a bit until the newest version comes out so you don't have to suffer the worst issues, you can still use your save file with the new version so you won't loose progress in terms of lives, levels or cages.

A major bug has been fixed in the newest version but I'm still looking into the other Betilla screen bug.

Good luck with those changes! Has the Betilla screen bug occurred regularly, or is this a one-off thing?

I couldn't recreate that issue myself and I think Raycarrot had it once and couldn't get it to happen again; I've tried everything but I never get it, yet a lot of other people get it. If someone ever figures out why it happens I'll make a new version, but until then there's nothing I can do about it and I'm not spending any more time on it.

I' won't be making the PS1 port now either.

Anyhow can one of the admins change the link on the first post with the latest version link as the old one is broken a superseded by this one...

Nope, this project took too long and wasn't rewarding really. I was considering doing other projects but not now.

That must be infuriating! Anyway, I changed the link in the post that is linked in the first post, since that's the one that contains the instructions too. You can edit the first post yourself now should you want to add the instructions and download link there directly.
