All righty then. In my opinion tea is superior because it's quite a bit more healthy (granted, not in massive doses, but still). It may contain caffeine like you said, but coffee contains much more usually (didn't want to say always). Also if you're feeling bad, tea (especially Polish mint tea) will most probably make you feel better, for example if you have a stomachache or something like that. Now tell me what would coffee do, please.Tobbe wrote:Only serious discussion, plz.Rulez wrote:noTobbe wrote:stfu noob, coffee is obviously superior.

Re: Coffee or tea?
That's sorta true, peppermint tea can do wonders for indigestion; some months back I had the worst indigestion I ever had, so I had a cup and after lots of burping and farting, I got better. :B

GIRLS DON'T DO THAT SHIT!!Cairnie wrote:burping and farting
And RayFan is better at documentation so ask her. I'm sure she'll agree on the superiority of tea WITH PROOF.
Re: Coffee or tea?
There is no such thing as proof in science, except for in mathematics.

Never ever do this to me again.Rulez wrote:And RayFan is better at documentation so ask her. I'm sure she'll agree on the superiority of tea WITH PROOF.
After searching for three minutes and twelve seconds, I have come up with this: Tea is technically healthier despite its ability to possess as much caffeine as coffee for the sole reason that coffee has a mental effect on you, whereas tea does not. Chemicals that affect your brain are never considered to be on the healthy side of the spectrum.

Ah, another day of me being cruel and evil to my friends and companions.

Re: Coffee or tea?
Peppermint tea is good for indigestion, insomnia, headaches and cramps.
Camomile tea is also good for indigestion and insomnia, also colic and neurosis.
I would write more, but, heck, I don't remember anything like that right now.
Yes Rulez, girls don't fart. We're made of flowers and butterflies *burp*

Re: Coffee or tea?
I drank camomila tea when I had my wisdom teeth cut out. It's good for combating infection. (and the risk of it) Though not nearly as effective as gargling salt water. Seriously though, in the condition I was after the surgery, I could hardly gargle.
Re: Coffee or tea?
It is funny, I just drank tea now.
Re: Coffee or tea?
That's not true at all. For instance, studies indicate that moderate coffee consumption (3-5 cups/day) significantly reduces the risk of developing both Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. Drinking coffee also improves cognitive performance, such as short term memory, reaction time. There is no evidence that regular consumption of coffee has a detrimental effect on the brain (Source: Wikipedia, references to specific studies are easily found within the article). Where does this claim that any chemical that affects your brain is unhealthy, anyway? It sounds like New Age nonsense to me, because it certainly isn't congruent with reality.RayFan9876 wrote: After searching for three minutes and twelve seconds, I have come up with this: Tea is technically healthier despite its ability to possess as much caffeine as coffee for the sole reason that coffee has a mental effect on you, whereas tea does not. I also wonder why it would be that coffee affects your brain while tea doesn't?
Re: Coffee or tea?
Tobbe, why are you even debating with this tea-drinker ?
Re: Coffee or tea?
Skyrim reference?
I see all false statements as annoying mosquitos that need to be hit with the bug zapper of logic and reason.

Re: Coffee or tea?
Reference ? Nope. I'm curious, what did you think I meant ?
Re: Coffee or tea?
I thought you had modified the Nord insult "milk-drinker" into something a bit more relevant to this topic.
Re: Coffee or tea?
Well I think "x-drinker" is quite a common insult.
But coffee-frinkers are out fighting dragons while tea-drinkers get guard duty.

Tobbe is right about the Alzheilmer thing. I heard this in TV once.Tobbe wrote:That's not true at all. This is exactly why I didn't want to do this, Rulez pretty much set me up for a fall, but I "fallowed through" anyway. Get it?Tobbe wrote:That's not true at all. Three minutes of research is no good. You shouldn't have even bothered replying.
