The downside is I am laying in bed and I fell asleep with the phone on my face
Re: Who also uses their smart phones to post here at RaymanPC?
ME ME! I do! But not today, not on a record day!
Re: Who also uses their smart phones to post here at RaymanPC?
I used it sneakily to post more than I should but it's too long of a story! We have to post, and I can't keep you!

At least if there was a good app to write what you're saying...
Re: Who also uses their smart phones to post here at RaymanPC?
Sadly it's hard for me to type stuff on the phone but it's better than nothing
Re: Who also uses their smart phones to post here at RaymanPC?
The best solution is a physical keyboard. Then the touch-keyboards on big tablets whom big enough to type on without gettinh bothered. Then coming the smartphones, Then coming the crapshit cell phones.Rulez wrote:Sadly it's hard for me to type stuff on the phone but it's better than nothing

It can be useful when you don't have something else or when you are travelling but if you have a computer, you must either be fool or masochist to use a cellphone/smartphone/tabletRayrobi wrote:The best solution is a physical keyboard. Netbooks are also great to go to the internet everywhere by emergency as long you own a USB stick with internet access.

I don't know in your country but in France, the 3G network doesn't work very well in my opinion. Furthermore, it's quite expensive.Haruka wrote:Netbooks are also great to go to the internet everywhere by emergency as long you own a USB stick with internet access.

It is an expensive service in Portugal aswell, but the time I used to have one the device did work very badly.
Now there are hot spots that you can insert a password and username if you are subscribed to an entertainment operator (TV + Internet + Phone).

They work quite flawlessly here in Denmark. Hence, we've even got LTE (erroneously referred to as 4G by some). And it's all quite cheap, despite that taxing/VAT is extremely high here.Raylex wrote:I don't know in your country but in France, the 3G network doesn't work very well in my opinion. 3G is amazing here in Canada. It's usually 2-3 times as fast as WiFi, and it's often difficult to resist tethering (because I only have a 500 MB 3G plan).

Here it works quite well. It's even faster than my Wi-fi network, but maybe that's just our router's fault.Raylex wrote:I don't know in your country but in France, the 3G network doesn't work very well in my opinion. Why? Do you ever used a tablet? I once had an original Galaxy Tab and typing went very well and it was - most of the times - easy to type on it. Though not with it's original Samsung keyboard, but with AnySoftKeyboard. It even had a hungarian keyboard layout.Raylex wrote:It can be useful when you don't have something else or when you are traveling but if you have a computer, you must either be fool or masochist to use a cellphone/smartphone/tabletRayrobi wrote:The best solution is a physical keyboard. Personnally, I sometimes use my iTouch (but that's not a smartphone) to come here.
I maybe think of having a phone with Android in a few days, but for now...

Yeah, I don't know about there, but here when we're lazy, we just say "iTouch" instead of "iPod Touch". x)Rayrobi wrote:Do you mean iPod Touch?Samathou wrote:Personnally, I sometimes use my iTouch (but that's not a smartphone) to come here.

A LG? My phone is a LG but one of the old versions before becoming a smartphone.

I personnaly use my phone (Motorola Defy, the unbreakable) to check RPC new messages the morning.
Re: Who also uses their smart phones to post here at RaymanPC?
Yes, LG Optimus One. I only use it when i don't have my tab with me, because my tab is more than thrice as faster.Samathou wrote:Yeah, I don't know about there, but here when we're lazy, we just say "iTouch" instead of "iPod Touch". x)Rayrobi wrote:Do you mean iPod Touch?Samathou wrote:Personnally, I sometimes use my iTouch (but that's not a smartphone) to come here.
