I noticed that too, the article mentioned the PC version as the "most attractive" but I think the Dreamcast version has its own charms like the mini-games in Globox Village and the more abundant Robo-Pirates to throw you off guard. The producer herself mentioned that if they had just focused on the DC version it might be even better than it is now and that part I find a little curious

I've never seen this image in my whole life.Droolie wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2019 7:01 pm Since it wasn't posted anywhere, allow me to share this cursed official image made for Rayman 2, featured in an Edge magazine as part of the "Rayman in abstract art" lineup. (There is some other, nicer looking previously unseen artwork in there too, so be sure to check it out.)
You can kinda see why it wasn't posted online among the other Rayman abstract artworks.
This one was based on The Kiss, by Gustav Klimt.
Be sure to keep that in mind while you analyze the image and draw the wildest conclusions.![]()

Well this was before the Dreamcast version was released, they were just assuming it wouldn't be much different due to time constraints. If that's true, it means the Dreamcast version would have been even better, and it's already my favourite. The Jonster wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2019 8:53 pm I noticed that too, the article mentioned the PC version as the "most attractive" but I think the Dreamcast version has its own charms like the mini-games in Globox Village and the more abundant Robo-Pirates to throw you off guard. I wonder what stopped them from making the PC version have the most content, aside from probably rushing to get the game released.

Here's my favourite: But anyway, am I missing something? That person doesn't particularly look like Ly to me…Droolie wrote: Fri Oct 04, 2019 7:01 pm Since it wasn't posted anywhere, allow me to share this cursed official image made for Rayman 2, featured in an Edge magazine as part of the "Rayman in abstract art" lineup. I noticed there was an interview in there with Michel as well. It was interesting that the interviewer had seen the pilot of the TV series prior to it. Were people expecting it to be an introduction to Rayman 2? In answering the question where that came up, he also called Globox "quite stupid"… He also said he planned for Rayman 2 to be his last Rayman, and that the idea of "taking care of people" was important in the vision for BG&E, which makes sense.

That image to me looks like Rayman, but instead his hair has grown longer.PluMGMK wrote: Sat Oct 05, 2019 4:32 pm Here's my favourite:snip-1570285793.png

The way he’s posed makes me think of a famous artwork, but that’s probably just me.

Re: Rayman's girlfriend?!
To clarify, my remark about Ly relates to the picture Droolie posted. The one I posted is of course Rayman, in a parody of a painting that I believe is named "the Birth of Venus".
