Yeah, I saw that screenshot on RZ too. It looks really good, gives the game a more mysterious feeling.

Hm... I played the new demo and got to 'Barren Mines' but there is an error when I start that level... Maybe because it's just a demo. Well, I liked the Rintu caves... But I think the old menu music version was better...

Edit > The error:

ERROR in
action number 14
of Key Press Event for <Enter> (or <Space>) Key
of Object objMap:

Error in code at line 12:

room_goto(rmLevel14)

at position 14: Unknown variable rmLevel14

( Abort Ignore )

I actually kept the same main menu music... lol It's the same file and everything. It's just that the other demo was built using GameMaker 5.3a, which plays the music through your media player, and because every computer's midi-file playing system is set differently, you've been hearing it in a way that it wasn't meant to be heard. :P

As for the error.. it's because I forgot to put the "this is the end of the demo" message back in before uploading this one. ><

I think that Robo-Pirates should be bigger on the box.

I'm sorry for the total lack of updates, but I've been concentrating on the specialized board for the game more than all the other topics I posted everywhere else.

I've been mostly redoing Phoenixan's sprites lately for more detailed animations.

For those who have not seen any updates for months, I'll tell you this.

Phoenixan has made major improvments in the game, graphics to coding. A lot of nice features. I am amazed on how well he's done on it so far.

After I get all the new styled Phoenixan sprites done, I'm going to release a sort of "test level" (it's really one of the multiplayer levels) just to demonstrate the game's full version engine. ^^
