Hmm, seems like it's a bit patchy, pity too, that's actually a pretty good image.

It looks grainy because it's most likely artwork that's been covered with tons of painterly effects or perhaps it was even painted in the first place, much like that artwork of Clark helping Rayman save a Baby Globox while holding onto a cliff. If it were an image from in-game, it would be far crisper. Still, with some work, this may still very neatly fit a rank or a Wiki image. I could try to do the same thing I did to the Mr. Dark rank for our current ranklist, but that was a hell of a lot of nasty work and I'm not sure I'm up for that right this moment. Maybe later.

Hmm, I think the most optimal solution is if we could rip models, but that project hasn't really come to fruition yet.

Not for that image though, seeing as it's not from the game itself.
I was wondering, how would you guys stand on an accurate but user-created model that was made to copy one of the Rayman characters? Could we pose that model and then use pictures of it in ranks, or official-only stuff?

Hmm, I know RayWiki has a policy of official artworks only, as such, as great that idea sounds, it probably wouldn't pass there.
Ranks, on the other hand, I think should be fine, the only limitation I'm aware of is that they have to be Rayman related, fan made models and items still fall under that banner, I'd think.

(I mean I guess that makes sense seeing as I made my own character using Origins' sprites, so...)

Should I buy Mega Man 2? Is that a good game to get into the series?

Uh... fucking YES. You may like the X series better for it's fast paced gameplay. My recommendation is to play the originals but some of them are really difficult so don't go into them expecting it to be easy. However you could play one of the X games, as those are also extremely fucking awesome. Megaman is one of my favorite game franchises after all.

Fucking thank you. I've been trying to get an answer for two weeks already. I'm purchasing it over on the NES Virtual Console for the 3DS since it's on sale. I kinda want to experience the original games before heading towards the X series.

Eh... The best way to experience classic Megaman is either the actual physical cartridge (Megaman 5 is the only one I'm missing because it's so expensive.) or the one I highly reccomend, the anniversary collection for GameCube or ps2, it's bundled with 10 games and it's fairly cheap.

You have a point. I love physical copies, but this is cheaper for the time being.

Though it'd be better to save up, trust me, Anniversary collection is worth every cent.
Actually I highly recommend this:

Both Anniversary and X collection for $27, which would be a total of 18 games. It's a little on the pricey side but worth saving up for if you're trying to get into the series.

It is a nice deal, shame I never had a PlayStation 2.

Can always get it for Gamecube, but it's more expensive that way.
