You mean the VM itself lagged, right? So you tried to play a game on the virtual Windows and it was slow as hell?

Alright, try modifying the Ubi.ini file you find here: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\Ubisoft

Re: Rayman 3
How much RAM did you allocate to the VM?

Re: Rayman 3
I think getting Rayman 3 to run properly on a Windows XP VM doesn't require much of RAM.

Re: Rayman 3
Well yeah,.so there's no need to allocate enough to make the whole Mac lag.

Re: Rayman 3
Which VM software did you use? VMWare is the only one that has decent 3D acceleration, other software would lag if you started up a game…
If you did use VMWare, did you make sure hardware 3D acceleration was actually turned on for the machine?

Re: Rayman 3
That should do it too, if memory serves. Do you know how to enable hardware acceleration?

I've won the game now, and it's probably replicable, but I don't think there was, I vaguely remember walking between them and nothing happening... But I can't quite fully remember.Shrooblord wrote:Please stop quoting the image.
Hey Ambi, can you also stand inbetween the can and the rings to receive the power, i.e., is there a 'line of influence' between both, or is it really either the can or the rings?
Why do you ask?

Re: Rayman 3
Because it's quite an intriguing bug you found and knowing whether it's two separate instances both triggering the powerup or whether it's still one but torn apart object will give some insight into how the R3 engine works. And this is interesting to me.Ambidextroid wrote:Why do you ask?

I wonder if parallels could be drawn between this and the "Double Hoodlum" being discussed in the scores topic at the moment.

Oh hey! You remind me of something! XDPluMGMK wrote:I wonder if parallels could be drawn between this and the "Double Hoodlum" being discussed in the scores topic at the moment.
The mac was including Parallels with it! (Virtual Machine program for Mac) And I didn't try Rayman 3 in that time but Rayman Legends was working perfectly without any problem while BOOTCAMP made Rayman Legends have a few bugs like... White bars on character gallery and weird fade in and out!
I wonder if that makes Rayman 3 work too?
