You didn't fix it at all though. Look at the '- Decreased quality in the sound effects' part of your post.

I thought you were referring to the other problem.

(Sorry, guys. It was not really a R1 HD.)

I somehow already guessed. Though I believe sometime in some years there will be a HD remake but probably not from Ubisoft.

I will never lose hope for R1 HD and I will start YouTube campaign for it and send it to Ubisoft. With Remi's idea of remaking R1 music, it would go perfect with R1 HD Remake. If R2 got remake, R1 deserves it too.

R2 got a remake for the PS2 about 10 years ago, much has changed in that time, and I'm pretty sure Ubi's standards on porting/remaking have declined looking at the more recent remakes/ports out of their little factory.
I'd rather such an undertaking were actually done by people who appreciate the games in all aspects, as opposed to being a mere technical makeover. Frankly, given that it's been almost 20 years, I don't think there are many at Ubi who'd hold that kind of appreciation and be willing to make what I'd envision as a good HD remake of R1, but, to each their own.

If I can make a small complaint in Rayman is that the Band Lands don't feel like a music world. It felt like a sky world. I know it's nitpicking but it dose't feel musical enough. The main problem are the backgrounds. with the exception of first level they used a sky background for every level after, except for the boss fight. Sky Backgrounds are more suitable for the Blue Mountains because your climbing up a mountain. Now if they did something like in Picture City where they had a wooden canvas for the background, I felt it was art themed.
A minor one is the monks. They are so out of place in this wolrd and in this game, yes I don't like the monks. They just don't look right and don't fit the theme at all.

The countless music instruments were enough for me. Most of Band Land takes place up in the sky anyway, so it's a bit of a sky world too.

Hmm, thinking about it, perhaps the whole ascending to the skies thing might have been better if it were rounded off with a Band Land/Blue Mountains transition level, that way, the ascent to the skies feels more like a climb, and thus perhaps, a little more satisfying.

I also think it is a nice transition to Blue Mountains, as that takes place in the sky at well, but simply with different weather. I then feel like Picture City was Rayman going back to the ground, Caves of Skops being underground.
The orchestric music and sheet music bars also helped with that theme.

I guess you can say its a transition, but none of the other areas have level like that. And you can go to the Blue Mountains after the second level. And the sky background is used in all the levels except the first, the boss and maybe a bounus stage

Actually, I would have loved a transition level in every world (but the Dream Forest of course), it's a shame they only did it for Band Land and on the PC version.

I meant it's more a general transition, as both take place in the sky, but I agree that there should be a transition stage, like the first stage of Bongo Hills for the PC, and then move on to the regular level, as long it's not shitty like the Mr. Nutz GBA water levels that don't fit the atmosphere of the previous level whatsoever.

Same thing here. The way they did for Band Land was really a nice touch that was not reproduced in every version of the game sadly.

Hmm, I don't like how it's so full of reverb. If that was a picture, it would be a very blurry picture. It would be a bit too bright too. And by that I mean your music needs some bass. Apart from that, it's pretty good!
