OCG logged the chat during the stream on YouTube, it's pretty long, but perhaps it might be of interest.

Re: Rayman 3
I didn't watch the thing in live and I also think the OCG might be the only one who uploaded the entire thing from beginning to end.Master wrote:OCG logged the chat during the stream on YouTube, it's pretty long, but perhaps it might be of interest.
We already know each other for some time, I was even subbed to him, but eventually I unsubbed when he began spamming game OST uploads onto his channel. xD
No offense, man that Rayman statue and R3 Press Kit you got are freakin' epic!

Re: Rayman 3
So after a discussion in another thread, I've decided to bring the discussion here... to well where it belongs.
This is in regards to the Rayman 3 ending scene, where it shows the black lums turning into red lums again.
Now apparently the accepted (unofficial) theory is that because they show the moons changing position that it's suggesting it's a flash back to when Andre is created; therefore showing us how it happened
BUT I have 2 other theories which make just as much sense which I think are worth discussing:
1. if the moons move, that could just mean it's later in the night, therefore this scene is showing Andre coming back to life, and therefore keeping the story open-ended for another game
2. It was pointed out to me that Globox says something like 'wake up Rayman' during the Andre scene, which suggests that it could have been one of Rayman's dreams!
Thoughts?

Re: Rayman 3
It is official, the developers confirmed it was a flashback.

You could have done it in my 5 minutes if you had said the developers said that.Bradandez wrote:Damn, you just got proven wrong in less than an hour.
I don't have a problem with being wrong at all.
Re: Rayman 3
I sourced through the wiki. Isn't that proof enough?

Re: Rayman 3
What if I said Origins is a prequel because the developers said so?

Then I can't argue it
I can question it
but can't argue the fact

Re: Rayman 3
Therein lies the problem, I trust Plum, but we need to find this developer's statement if we're to properly put this to rest.

Re: Rayman 3
I trust Plum too, and the community is bound to believe that on good grounds. It's obviously an issue that hasn't been covered for a long old while, so everyone is a little rusty on the facts
Hopefully the developer quote is found, and we can close this yo'

I don't care what the developers say. Hoodlums' Revenge, man.
Re: Rayman 3
Every Rayman game is non-cannon. Case closed.

Yes, they are not cannons, that'd be dangerous.

Re: Rayman 3
Surely you just mean the spin-offs like Rayman 1 and 2? Rayman Golf and Rayman Garden have pretty taut story arcs that go hand-in-hand.

Re: Rayman 3
Saber is right... Rayman 1 and 2 are mere spin offs to the REAL franchise at hand, Rayman Golf and Garden.
Both of these excellent mobile games introduced us to huge plots, Rayman 2 ain't got shit on it!
Also don't forget Rayman kart, now that's the REAL deal here.

Re: Rayman 3
What foolishness is this? Everyone knows that Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party is the one and only headcanon here, nothing else!Rayfist wrote: Also don't forget Rayman kart, now that's the REAL deal here.
