Also, there's nothing quite as rude or to-the-point enough to say it the way you use it in Dutch, but < guesses "That doesn't sound right", "That doesn't quite roll off your tongue (as easily as...)" or "That word doesn't sit well" would suffice. It's a bit hard to translate some things, because some things simply don't have a translation; but there must be something more similar to the Dutch phrase in existance in English, but you'd have to dig down into regional accents a lot more to get to it.
