They are all 64×64 textures (PC version), but I think the one who could help you out is Droolie, he ripped all of them.

Why has the N64 Version different Music? I mean the Music in the Tomb of the Ancients is in the N64 Version less scary than in the PC Version. Did anyone know why they changed the music?

because it is compressed.

Not compressed OCG, it uses synthesised instrument samples that are programmed to recreate music instead of recorded compositions. The N64 Cartridges don't have the memory to hold the music seen in all other versions of Rayman 2, as such, it uses what we call MIDI.

OK that's bad. The music from the Tomb of the Ancients isn't creepy in the N64 version. In the Pc Version it is.

Here you go, the Rayman 2 Texture Pack - Version 2! Now includes all of the textures of the N64 version AND the PC version:

Among the PC version's textures, there are a lot that I don't seem to remember... Polokus' and Jano's dialogue icons weren't used, were they? And the Teensie prisoner's robe texture is in there too, while that particular scene doesn't even play in the PC version.

I haven't looked through Version 2 yet, but are there any unique textures for the N64 version? Off the top of my head I'd imagine that Rayman's texture is slightly different, such as to include painted-on fingers since he doesn't have individual fingers in that version.

From what I've seen his hand texture is actually the same. I've noticed the same texture for his hands was in both texture packs. I could be wrong though.
Apart from that I think only some of the portraits (Rayman, Ly) are different. The rest of the textures are just low-res versions of the ones from the PC version.
Perhaps the most interesting revelations in that pack come not so much from the textures themselves but rather from the naming:
- The eyes of the so-called small caterpillars are named "Lums_yeux_nz", "Lums_eyes", indicating that they could in fact be... black Lums.
- The name for Eig's textures is "maturin", revealing Maturin from the Dark Tower as a likely influence.
- There are textures for various "temples" which ended up being the Sanctuaries. There's Earth, fire, and... some textures for a very specific part of the Tomb of the Ancients. Could the Tomb of the Ancients possibly be more special than just a tomb?

Just beat Rayman Revoultion and there's one thing I don't get. Why can't I fight the bosses again. It wouldn't bother so much if some events in levels also didn't happen again, mainly freeing Globox and meeting Umber. The only boss i found you can fight again is the Warship in the Canopy, yes I do call that a boss because it's the only time you fight a Warship instead of being chased by one

That's an issue with Rayman 2 as a whole, you can't fight bosses again in all versions, and I do agree, it's a bit of a shame. I get why they did it in terms of how Rayman 2 progresses, but it'd be nice if they did fit in rematches in some area.

Interesting observations there, especially for the Maturin thing.

Too be honest the bosses were a bit easy. They weren't bad, I like the gaurdians and Jano was an interesting fight. And they were short so keeping them after you finished a level wouldn't drag the game. Besides they weren't as incredibly hard as the bosses from the first game along with the harder levels.

Agreed there, but I did like how some of the bosses were in concept, now that I think of it, I think only Boss Chenille is the only boss which you can attack directly and not by using some other means or shooting a weak spot.
In terms of boss fights in general for the series, I think Rayman 1's bosses felt somewhat more satisfying when beaten, possibly because they can be very difficult to the uninitiated, given a better pay off when overcome. However, my favourite boss fights come from Rayman 3, bosses like the Hoodstomper, Begoniax, Razoff amongst others weren't completely difficult at all, but I liked the concepts they offered.

My one problem with it is that as a whole, the game is too easy, largely due to the almost too-simple combat. You rarely ever fight more than one pirate at a time; to compensate for its simplicity, wouldn't it be awesome and actually challenging if like five or six ganged up on you at once?

Rayman Revolution does that at some points, and those missile wielding Pirates are quite difficult to contend with initially. It's a start, but considering how you can one-hit KO some robots in that game when sufficiently powered, it doesn't really do much.

I really hope you're right. The thought of Rayman making Dark Tower references is hilarious.

Here's a bizarre Rayman 2 news story: Norway mass murderer
Anders Breivik threatens a hunger strike over... being forced to play Rayman 2 in prison:
http://www.polygon.com/2014/2/14/541239 ... revolution
Convicted Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik threatened to go on a hunger strike unless he's given a PlayStation 3, access to more adult games, a PC and a nicer chair, the AFP reports.
Breivik was sentenced to 21 years in prison for
killing 77 people in a bombing and shooting rampage in July 2011. During his trial, Breivik told a packed Oslo courtroom how he used Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to "train" for the summer shooting spree. He also defended his World of Warcraft gaming habits, saying it was a hobby and unrelated to the attacks.
In the letter, obtained by the AFP and dated Jan. 29, 2013, Breivik calls himself a human rights activist and said that the prison system was treating him "worse than an animal.
The letter makes 12 demands including the right to communicate more freely with the public, the replacement of his PS2 with a PS3, access to more adult games and a sofa or armchair.
"Other inmates have access to adult games while I only have the right to play less interesting kids games. One example is Rayman Revolution, a game aimed at three year olds," Breivik wrote in the letter, according to the AFP.
He argued that since he has behaved since his incarceration he should have access to a wider "selection of activities" than other inmates to make up for his isolation. He also asked for a PC to replace his typewriter, bemoaning the lack of technology afforded him.
"You've put me in hell ... and I won't manage to survive that long," he wrote. "You are killing me."
Officials are expected to respond to the more than year-old complaint next week.
