Re: Rayman's age
Or he could be ageless. After all, do we know about anything that ages in Rayman's world (well, actually, yes, Teensie's mention children etc, so I'm 99% sure they do age). However, I don't think lums have age. They have existed for eternity, and Rayman consists of lums.

Re: Rayman's age
Didn't you get 100% in Rayman 2? Everyone gets lumz, but that doesn't mean when they were born the Lumz they were given didn't already exist.need my speed wrote:Or he could be ageless. Also in the Rayman 2 manual it says the plural for "Lum" is "Lumz".
Also don't Google "Lum".
Re: Rayman's age
I thinx Rayman has no age cause we don't konw where he was born and we don't know when he was born too.

In Rayman 1. But Electoons hold the Great Protoon together, while lums hold the Heart of the World together. They're the same, although different.

Re: Rayman's age
How could Rayman's composition have changed between the two games?

Re: Rayman's age
Electoons don't hold the Protoon together; they merely orbit it. I think of them as a life-form which has adapted to rely entirely on the Protoon's presence, and feed off the energy it produces. The Yellow Lums ARE the Heart. The Heart is made of them.need my speed wrote:In Rayman 1. But Electoons hold the Great Protoon together, while lums hold the Heart of the World together. ~I also happen to think that the Great Protoon and the Heart of the World are one and the same, but that's another matter entirely.

They do have the same descirption, sort of. Just watch teh Rayman 1 and 2 intro movie. They both provide and maintain the harmony and balance of the world (quoted from Rayman 1
), and without them, creatures become weaker.

And the fact that the Pirates shattered it into a thousand pieces before it was repaired by Rayman and the Teensies would explain the difference in its appearance.need my speed wrote:They do have the same descirption, sort of. Re: Rayman's age
~Good evening, fellows. Today I have unearthed a mind-blowing revelation.
Go to 0:15 and 0:21. Together, it says "They have planned this day for decades; the day they will rule the world".
Now, I'm sure you're all familiar with a certain man's words on R4:
The Rabbids have been planning their invasion for decades. The Rabbids have been planning their invasion since Rayman 1.
Combine those two pieces of information, and what do you get?
This means that several decades have passed between the events of Rayman 1 and the events of Rayman 4. The term 'decades' is inappropriate if it's anything less than thirty years or more than ninety years, I think.
Thoughts?

There you have it.Michel Ancel wrote:It’s a real pleasure for me to be back working on an all-new Rayman. After wrapping up my last game, the team here in Montpellier sat down to talk about having some fun with Rayman and his universe. We are running into a bit of a problem, though, because our game has been invaded by thousands of raving mad and vicious bunnies, who have apparently been preparing this assault since the very first Rayman game.

Re: Rayman's age
Then what you are trying to insinuate is that Rayman is more than adult on R4... It's hard to accept that. XD

Re: Rayman's age
I don't think it's that hard to accept. We don't even know for sure if members of Rayman's species grow old.
