^ reminds me of how some sayings are so stupid that they contradict themselves.

^ reminds me of Irish being a very hard language for everyone (I can imagine how my native language, Hungarian, can be a really tough language for people that don't speak it as their native language also. It's beautiful if you pronounce stuff and say things in a way that's grammatically correct though )

I plan to keep learning more of what I don't know, because even if I never use it, I'd still like to fully understand my country's language.

Well, for when you want to translate only one word, it's really accurate, but for when you want to translate an entire sentence like this one, the sentence that it gets translated to is nonsense.

Umm, what do you mean? < didn't say you should always beware of them because some spicy stuff is great, < only said they're good if they're moderately spicy. You should beware of really hot peppers though like Chocolate Bhutlah (< just found out that Chocolate Bhutlah pepper is a hybrid between a 7 Pot Douglah and a Bhut Jolokia pepper both being extremely hot and pungent), Dragon's Breath pepper and Devil's Tongue pepper. I mean, the names of the last two peppers I've mentioned already tell themselves you should beware of them.

I don't think he meant it like that, I think he just meant that you remind him to be aware of how spicy certain foods might be before eating them.
