It gets colder every day.

It's getting darker every day... I need to remember to turn the clocks back this Saturday.

Today the sun returned, but the weather was slightly cold.

It's been raining cats and dogs for the past 2 days.

Very unstable fall weather. Two weeks back we had constant pouring down rain for like two or three days straight, with the temperatures in the 30's (Fahrenheit) the whole time then last week getting in the 70's and sunny. (Now it's back to rain with the temperatures still managing to remain in the 70's)

Today it got sunny again. OO'

It was bright and sunny a few hours ago--now it's back to flood advisories...

Today it is cloudy.

Same here. Bleak stratus clouds, to be precise.

The weather is more fresh, but it's always up to 20° where I live. oo Blue sky, no clouds...

That expression means it is really raining a lot.

I was hoping for that.

Because it isn't raining really felines and canine animals.

It looks alike to a french expression. When you say "C'est un temps de chien", which means "It's a dog weather", it means that the weather is really bad (raining a lot, coldn, etc.) XD
