well its ok but i go curious of 3 things=
1-the cryengine3 is the same used on crisis or far cry 2
2-i see that there is a raygirl on the game, but you know little how will she looks like?
3-we will gonna need to save the electoons from the cages again?

CryEngine 3 will be used in Crysis 2.

Well
1: CryEngine 2 is used in Crysis. Far Cry 2 has nothing to do with Crytek, and uses the Dunia engine. CryEngine3 is used in Crysis 2 like Plum said.
2: Not yet, because the model is very hard to do.

Hey, I'm really late with this, but I just wanted to express my support for your project: it's really amazing !

But you should know there is a major pitfall that you might fall into quite easily: don't make your game to "realistic", make sure you're game always keeps the magical feeling of Rayman and his world. That magical feeling of Rayman and his world are why so many of us are in love with the games.

Why am I telling you this? Well, Drolpiraat ( or someone else, I can't remember ) used to work on a 3D Rayman fan game too. That game failed because it didn't have that magical feeling. I don't want this project to end in the same way.

Oh, and Rayman shoots wrong. Rayman shoots by releasing a ball of energy from the palms of his hands ( in Rayman 2, Rayman Revolution and Rayman M / Arena ), or throwing his fists ( Rayman 1 and Rayman 3 ). In your game he appears to be pressing a button on his hands and then he shoots. That's not how Rayman shoots in the other games

I said that video was ooooooooooooooooold. I've done way better self-done animations for my new Rayman model, but I'm not quite ready to showcase it yet.

But there will be fantasy and realistic environments. A lot of the time, the realistic environments will have an abstract and beautiful feeling to them too.

I'm just saying you should always keep that in mind. You're still on track, don't worry about it

And I have the information about his old 3D game from the old introduction post of the topic about Eclipse ( then called Master of the dark sun ), but it appears that he edited it away. You can always ask him, if you really want to know more about it.

Here it is, the old version of "Electoons" XD
I was kinda silly back then, so uh... don't laugh too much
In fact, just don't download it. It's really not worth it.

It was made using the 3D Gamemaker, a very easy but really crappy 3D game making program. I had no programming knowledge whatsoever and I couldn't draw on computer, so that was my only choice. I edited the texture of a walking tomato model to make it look a bit like an electoon, and I edited the texture of a giant cowboy to make it look like Mr Dark, and there it was, the game. Crappy models, textures, gameplay... and no magical feeling. Luckily, Eclipse is a lot better.

Oh yeah, it was actually cancelled so I could make another game, "Bar's Fanquest", my first gamemaker game, but... that turned out to be quite crappy as well. Then I started making Electoons again, but in 2D, which I then renamed Master of the Dark Sun and then Eclipse.

Ah, the first posts, where we'd always have bad grammer and splelling.

I downloaded the seven parts plus the setup.ini, but am I supposed to combine them or something? Because they're all EXE files with the same name. And if so, how?

Part 9 + 10 of the soundtrack will be up in a couple hours! These two coming up have a lot of tracks in them. Expect something dark and epic.
