I have this theory, when the Phantom sang his song roasting Rayman and said that Rayman's friendship with Globox is weak, what if Rayman's failure to rescue the baby Globoxs in RRR1 caused this? This might explain why Rayman is alone in the Raving Rabbids series and isn't with his friends Globox, Murphy, ect

Yes but got the turnips in Legends, it's a good thing to have new iconic fruits for the saga, it's as if Mario only had mushrooms, and no racoons leaf, fire flowers, etc...

AcKchyUally, turnips are vegetables, not fruits.
Also, do you imply that the point of this item with barely any use besides extra Lums/hearts/etc. was to have something as iconic as arguably the most useful and one of the most recognizable Rayman objects that works as a full-on gameplay mechanic (bouncing it around like a ball, riding it to gain extra height, using it to move through water/lava, using it as a platform by throwing it into posts...), and which have been featured in most of the older games and their Game Boy adaptations (to the point of even getting their own music themes in Rayman 3)?
If I wanted some iconic Turnips in a game saga, I would just play Rune Factory (just like I do right now!).

By the way, Mario's Mushrooms are far more iconic than any of these power-ups, and has there been any Mario game where there was NO mushrooms while they were replaced entirely by Fire Flowers or the Raccoon Leaf for example? Because I highly doubt this ever happened (at least in the main series), so I don't see how you comparison works here as it should be instead "It's as if Mario only had Racoon Leaves, Fire Flowers, but no Mushrooms"... So why can't we have both like in Mario then?

I do actually agree with what you mean, I also do like the Turnips, and I'm all for innovation through brand new features... But if the goal is to have NEW iconic objects while not featuring the old ones, then why were the Yellow Lums even brought back? While completely going against their original lore at the same time (that is: being LIMITED fragments of the shattered Heart of the World, an event that supposedly didn't even occur in these games)... Why didn't they make a brand new item there or simply repurposed the Tings which were far more similar in the way they work? It would have been far more innovative and more relevant in my opinion...
