No worries - it goes in steps; first you make the counter, then you let it count, then you retrieve the actual information about how many posts there were and update the counter with that. I'm assuming it'll all be fine in a few moments.

The global counter is an approximation but it should be close to the actual figure. Your personal counter only starts from now, sorry about that!
