Re: Rayman 3
The iOS version can't even detect my fingers when strafing because of my abnormal thumbs, fuck it.
Touch controls are shit, end of story.

Re: Rayman 3
In general I disagree with that, it's all a matter of execution from the dev's side really. I'm quite comfortable with the Taxman remaster of Sonic 2 on my Android which also uses touch controls with "virtual on-screen" analogs.Rayfist wrote: Touch controls are shit, end of story.

Re: Rayman 3
You're right, though in most cases of 3D games, they are indeed shitty. Sonic 2 is a game where all you do is jump and run. There's literally nothing else to it.
Rayman 2 has way more controls on a 3D plane at that, so the execution is way more tricky. The execution of it on the iOS version of R2 was clearly poor, they could've just put a strafe button in the corner instead of having to pinch fingers.

I'm absolutely unfamiliar with R2's iOS port, so you're probably right.Rayfist wrote:You're right, though in most cases of 3D games, they are indeed shitty. Sonic 2 is a game where all you do is jump and run. There's literally nothing else to it.

Re: Rayman 3
It's just a problem exclusive to people with abnormally large thumbs, strafing is literally impossible for me, making a lot of segments a bit irritating.
Re: Rayman 3
That's it.
I'm gonna beat the carrot outta you, Bradandez.
I'll beat Rayman 2 on my familiar and totally great system.
Actually no
I'm still waiting for a port of Rayman 3 or a remaster, who's waitin' too?

Re: Rayman 3
After Rayman 3 HD, I kind of don't want another port of R3 to happen. I'm all in for a Revolution port though!Hoozang wrote:That's it.

Re: Rayman 3
R3HD isn't awful, it's just noticeably inferior compared to the original releases. I'm just gonna assume that it wasn't ported by the original dev team.Hoozang wrote:Darn Ubisoft.

Re: Rayman 3
Nah I replied to that :

I love R3HD but I prefer anyway the original releases.
(For the R3 HOF Key, for example :3)

Re: Rayman 3
Indeed, I'd love the HOF code generator being added to R3HD.

Re: Rayman 3
There is a way for getting into R3HD but I forgot how ...
Re: Rayman 3
The port is perfect. It's you that can't experience the best version of R2. You guys have it so much shit they removed it from the App store and now I am sad.Rayfist wrote:The iOS version can't even detect my fingers when strafing because of my abnormal thumbs, fuck it.

No, you gotta beat it on the iOS port if you wanna beat me, beyotch!Hoozang wrote:That's it.

Re: Rayman 3
It lacks the smooth framerate of the dreamcast.Bradandez wrote:The port is perfect. It's you that can't experience the best version of R2. You guys have it so much shit they removed it from the App store and now I am sad.
Re: Rayman 3
The Dreamcast can't even run Angry Birds. iOS on the other hand can and even Candy Crush. Where's your argument there, huh?

So bad? So currently only PS2 emulated version in 4x native resolution beats every version, and it's the best.it's just noticeably inferior compared to the original releases.
Although, I haven't precisely checked PC version with widescreen fix to compare, but it looks like.
