It is a warm night. It isn't so hot that I am actually sweating. No rain but thank goodness for no sweating.

The sun doesn't bother as long as there are clouds in the sky. More sun and barely any clouds. That is a no no for me. There is heat still but there are times that it is just so hot and no wind is blowing at all. It sometimes last all the way to the night.

It seems to have been pretty calm tonight despite all the recent rain and wind.

The tropical storm passed over us a couple of days ago. At around 8am there was a huge thunderclap that took out our power for a few seconds (enough to reset all the clocks). Later on, our power went off for a couple of hours, seemingly because they were doing repairs to fix other people's supply.

Also I kinda miss botting this thread. :fou:

Yeah, we chose to stay in our house after the first time where a hurricane was coming to us, and then curved right and missed so we drove away to someone's house for nothing.

The most recent one i had, we had a flood and we couldn't drive out from the house a few days, so my dad and I were the only ones stuck in the house as my sister was stuck at my cousin's house and my mom was out of town. I got lots of gaming work done but it was stressful being alone with dad for days.

I never had something that bad before. There were storms, but never anything extremely ridiculous in terms of wind.

Remember with Hurricane Ophelia, how we had to lock down the country for a whole day? Never thought I'd be nostalgic for that, but here we are…

Unrelated, but in that case, we could call COVID-19 a hurricane since it caused lockdowns in places. :P

It seemed to get somewhat windy temporarily a while ago, but that died down.

I hear there’s not one, but two possible hurricanes coming this way now! What kind of luck is this??

I do know it's still a little windy since I can hear a can blowing around the garden every so often.
