I still haven’t received the Rayman 1 disc I purchased from eBay. I wonder what’s happening!

I can guarantee that something like that would not happen if you order from Haruka.
As for eBay, go on PayPal and resolve with seller.

Not needed anymore, I’ve finally received it.

Did somebody else also noticed that there ONLY screenshots of different early betas on the back cover of Rayman 1 for Atari Jaguar?

The screenshot on the top left shows the prototype that I fixed last december.
The one on the top right shows the other prototype that we also got (i think). Well it looks like a later version.
On the buttom left, we see mr. skops in the dreamforest and there is an electoon instead of a ting on the top. I think that one might was developed after the one above it.
And I can't really say about the last one. Rayman stands very stiff, which is also not present in the final product, in Picture City and there is no lifebar or something.

Very interesting find Omar, I did not notice that because I never saw back of Jaguar cover from close

It isn't a novelty for me at least.

@Omar: I'd know about those prototype screenshots before xD.. In my opinion it is very interesting that Ubi Soft used the same screenshots over and over ... in the Longbox Version of Rayman 1 you can find the same screenshots in the booklet :3

Well, on the Rayman Gold box (and possibly other releases of the PC version) they used a faked-up screenshot with one of Pirate Mama's minions standing on an eraser in a normal Picture City level. The pasted-in eraser and minion are even slightly transparent.

I know that the Learning Games with Rayman are not Rayman 1..but they are from the "Rayman 1 Generation" ...so I thought I could show you that xD

I'm having trouble with the Picture City. It's EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. Any help?

Hope that Polokus gives you strength.

Really though, Picture City is the peak when it comes to Rayman 1's difficulty, you're going to have to be very precise and clever in your technique and platforming. Persevere, and you'll be past the hardest.

And yes, I’m playing the PS1 version of the game from an original disc.

And Diagnosis + Disc Speed on Fast didn’t help with the disturbing noise coming from the PS2.

Ah I remember the first Rayman game I ever played was the first on the GBA, and many years ago I downloaded Rayman 1 for the PC for free, (probably illegally) through DOSbox, it still works too, I tested it recently, and it's just hit me with so much nostalgia that I am in the proccess of uploading a playthrough of it...
