I know, the search index reconstruction script failed last time. I couldn't block PC any longer so I'm currently working on some way to do it as a background job. It should be done by a few days.

Well, on the old server, there were frequent "Too many connections" errors, but the new server solved them all. Last night, I had one again. So, knowing that PC was "just there" was good while it lasted. That's what I mean.

I finished the reconstruction of the search index yesterday, which caused the MySQL server activity to increase more than tenfold. This was just occasional maintenance, and it has nothing to do with the average server load, which our new hardware handles perfectly. By the way, it also means that the search engine is now fully functional.

As their names hint, they are bots. The ‘Baidu [Spider]’ is some kind of spider-bot.

They're not bad bots though, they find things for search engines.
