I'm one of the few who actually liked Origins' artstyle. Wait... Liked? no. Loved. It was so Ren & Stimpy-ish... and as a cartoonist and pseudo-animator I really appreciate that. However, I must agree, Legends looks way better and more fitting for Rayman. The first blurry screenshots kept me fearful, tho... for a second I thought Ubiart was making a Rayman game with clay this time.

Zzzzzz...

Zzzzzz...

Sorry for the bump. It is amazing how the RL delay made the topic desert for these last days.

To be honest there aren't big news either. People on the Miiverse are still complaining.

Funny... it's been maybe half a year since I had a true Rayman mood... and now replaying Rayman Origins for the umpteenth time with my bro got me in that mood again. Origins is a fantastic game. But Legends, I won't probably buy yet. Plus I hope it gets ported to PC sooner or later, I would like that instead of playing on a shitty TV like mine.

You make a good point there. Traditionally, I've always been playing Rayman on the PC, but since I had Origins on the Xbox, for some reason it made sense to me that I should get Legends for it too. Maybe I'll wait instead, like you.

I just found a cute way to draw Rayman on Miiverse and I'm sticking to it... maybe I'm uploading that to DA.

BTW, yeah, the topic is dead... the delay is incredibly painful, Wii U owners are suffering right now. Neither Pikmin 3 or Wonderful 101 have a release date yet... we have no games... we have nothing to talk about in miiverse... we're condemned to boredom 'til the beginning of april.

That's why I invite you to participate in the Rayman 3 Photo Contest!

It's funny really - with Origins, the topic was kept alive all the way up to and beyond the release, because everyone was buzzing with news items and speculations about what might and might not happen in the game, or what the events that did happen in the game might mean in context. Here, it's like that well has dried up, or rather, never had any water in it to begin with. What do we know about Legends? What do we really know? We don't know even the slightest about the story, but the vague hints that the demos and videos can tell us.

And I like that, I think. I'd like to keep it a surprise.

We almost know nothing about the game, they have been omitting a lot of details. Well, hopefully in the next weeks we can have news about the date of the online challenges.

It seems they just don't want to disappoint us again when they take all the good stuff out of the finished product

Yeah, that's what I'm getting out of it. It actually makes me a bit more interested for the release because there are so many possibilities and it's set up so unless you have crazy unrealistic expectations, you probably won't be disappointed. The only people I foresee being disappointed are those who don't purchase for the Wii U since the ports are going to have a lot of parts removed entirely because the other consoles lack touchscreens.

It is funny how people were complaining at first because of the Wii U exclusivity, and now that the ports were announced, people still complain. Ubisoft asked appologies and decided to reward with an early online mode, and people are in the very same complains. I don't get it. :pfff: Honestly, I think it would have been a much better idea to release now the Wii U game and to announce the ports on E3 and everybody would be happy.

I agree, this is silly! Mind you, some fans are just never happy I guess :|

As for the lack of info, as long as it doesn't become too eerily quiet/under promoted, I think it's good that we're not getting overly spoiled with details of the game - a severe problem with publicity (of everything) within recent years...(I think finding out the ending of Origins months in advance is a perfect example!)

you know what i think ubisoft is doing these thing so rayman dose not end up like crash or spyro if they lose fan they might start to crap out ideas to start getting noticed again i think they know this and they don,t want rayman to slip into that kind of end even banjo went out like that and they must be happy that there was still a fan base left that could keep that could keep the series alive and they don,t want to throw this chance in the trash to bring him back we can all agree with this idea right :D

Eh...well, honestly there are no games on Wii U more than Nintendo Land and NSMB U. I made 100% on both games, now what? all of the amazing games on Wii U were delayed after April. No Pikmin 3, no Wonderful 101, nothing. I'm strugling, and I had to buy Runner 2 on the eShop because I didn't have any full retail game to buy (amazing game, tho). I understand their anger... but being a whiny little bitch and boycotting Legends is not gonna bring games to Wii U, and they should know that.

Also... fucking free online campaign. Delays are part of life, but this is the big fucking deal.

I find myself neutral in this situation. I'll be patient as long as Nintendo releases more games.

I also have only Nintendo Land and NSMBU. In Nintendo Land I'm trying to get one star in all attractions, while the last levels of NSMBU I'm saving them for Clara's visit in May. At least it isn't the only games I need to complete.

It is literally impossible to please everyone, so complaints are to be expected no matter what. It's just how people work. Everyone has their own preferences and expectations, and right now RL is caught in the crossfire between console fanboys/girls and those will very little patience. You also have the lot who are concerned about how well RL will do in sales with its new release date.

I don't remember who was enthusiastic about Game & Wario, but Nintendo finally released a trailer for it:

Okay. I confess it, the game kind of appeals to me. I'm a big fan of the Warioware series and this looks... fun. Lego City looks fun but... I don't know, I don't really want to buy it, dunno how to explain. Maybe some Wii U owners will feel better with this first party game. This and Pikmin 3...

It looks pretty fun, I may get it.

I like the fact that Nintendo is actually making good use of their hardware this time around.

What was that at 0:38?
"Choke on the cock! Bend the cocky-cocky!"
But it's... it's triangular!

IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO GO AT AN ANGLE!
