Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
I think they know that we'll pay anything to get it, so why not charge us more?
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Screw Amazon.co.uk. They must fix the pricing.
Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
So far on Bol.com, the price for the normal Rayman Origins is 59,99. There's no CE to be found though. It also says the game will be available for sale on 22nd of November. Their 'order today, tomorrow at home' policy would make this 23rd, IF you preorder it, anyway.

The HD games are 10€ more expensive than the Wii. And this is for the normal editions. The C.E. is 20€ more expensive than the Wii version, and 10€ more expensive than the normal editions for HD consoles.

Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
i made a mistake

Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
I did some browsing on Finnish online stores, the most expensive copy of Collector's Edition I could find was around 60€ too.
That's surprisingly cheap if you ask me, most special editions I've seen for other games have been at least 80+something.

Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Because those carry much more goodies. The C.E. of Sonic Generations will cost 100€ for example, and it is full of junk.
Well back in 2008 I gave 70€ for the C.E. of SPORE. It had not only the game, but a special box, a bigger manual, an artbook, a National Geographic documentary and a documentary of SPORE's Making Of.

Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
That's true, but I've also seen a "Special Edition" that only included lousy download coupons for a DLC and a soundtrack, and the price was immediately set to 70+ euros because of it.
Then again, stuff in Finland tends to get ridiculously expensive. XD

Same here. At least I can make sure Finland profits something thanks to us the Portuguese people. 60% of our mobile phones are NOKIA.Tricai wrote: Then again, stuff in Finland tends to get ridiculously expensive. XD

Wow, really? It's only 10 euros more expensive than the original? I am SO getting it!Haruka wrote:The HD games are 10€ more expensive than the Wii. And this is for the normal editions. Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
The very same thing happened with SPORE back in 2008. The normal edition cost 59,99€, while the SPORE: Galactic Edition cost 69,99€. I was predicting RO's C.E. to be the same price, but it amazed me it is 5€ cheaper. Supeeeeeeeeeeeer!Shrooblord wrote:Wow, really? It's only 10 euros more expensive than the original? I believe it is a mistake from Amazon.co.uk. Come on, 91€ is crazy. And the other websites say it is 65€.

Re: Rayman Origins contest sponsored by Ubisoft
Ah... Spore GA. The fun I had with that - and still do have occassionally, when I decide to fire it up again for one afternoon's timespan.
I just had an idea: why don't we all gather in one place in front of the UBI company building, wearing our T-Shirts we won here, with the grand winners showing off their prize? We would look like the actual staff of the game (except that we will have an incredible difference in age among all of us)!

If some offered me a plane trip to Ubisoft Montepellier.
I'm joking
.
What I might do is when I recieve the Gift Basket, I can take a photo of me, with the Gift Basket and the original drawing entry (it is already framed into a picture board in my bedroom
