Disable the forum for a few minutes until you do this, then the end of the record day might be later with 10-15 minutes.

It's possible to disable a forum, then enable it. I triad phpbb3 months ago, so that's why i know this.

That would be a huge mess as well though, the record is not programmed to last more than 24h. The errors are fixed anyway.
