When I got a spare copy of Rayman 1 on Saturn and found that it was scratched to hell and back I did try the toothpaste thing but again here it didn't work and I just had to go and send it off to a cleaning service, even then they didn't salvage it 100% but it was playable.

Well that sucks! I hate when the preowners don't take care of their stuff. OK I admit that I didn't take care of my games but I was a child and now I do. All my games I got new recently are in top notch condition. Funnilly the only Rayman 1 for Sega Saturn copy I got is the japanese version and that one is like new ^^'
All my old japanese games are actually in top condition, which makes me think that they keep their games clean. Good job Japan!

Made this. I'm far from done with it, but I got sick of writing it for the moment, so here's what I have so far. (Excuse the shitty writing; I was typing in a hurry.)

It's a good start, we can easily expand and rework the structure later if needs be, but having a basic framework for it all is paramount. I might be tempted to separate various parts into their own articles, but let's see how this initial one is built up before we start spreading things out.

Hmm, I don't think I'll be able to make it, I might only have four exams left, but I can't spend too much time off. I wish you the best of luck, however.

I added discovers of the glitches in Rayman 3, added a TAS-Only strat in Moskito Nest and modified the "zipping" glitch I use in my TAS because you were completely wrong. I explained what to do, and it's not hard. I can get it 3/4 of times on my PS1.
:p
Best luck.

I will watch it if I get to. I think more people should do livestreams about Rayman

You have a real PS1? Cool!

You can get a 'real' PS1 very easily. A huge percentage of people still own them, and they're worth virtually nothing on eBay.

Except for Limited Editions and Dev Kits

Those are worth a lot. Blue PS1 Dev Kit is the best because it is region free and it also plays burned discs.

Or, you could, you know, get a modchipped system.

Ahh, it's amazing how back in the ol' days hardmodding was a necessity, yet these days, all one needs is the proper software exploits to start breaking down the walls and modding up a console.

Actually, that's still a necessity for most systems; few can be softmodded.

Hmm, I guess so, I think I've been getting used to softmodding with my PSP and Wii, and I know it was possible on the PS3 as well, and as such I assumed it was more widespread.

I never happened to own one myself, but like a year ago someone wanted to give me his old spare PS1 but sadly I couldn't take it :/
