Quite unucky, for me the cold season is September-May

Oh yeah, September's the worst. I remember when I'd be doing my homework the first weekend back at school, and my nose would just start running, and I'd be like, ah yes, here we go again…

What are your first symptoms? for me, I usually wake up with a scratchy throat until I start snotting around 3pm

I guess it's waking up with a sore throat for me usually too, but back in school I think it was more the runny nose indicated the onset…

Fair enough, but back in January I had the worst sore throat pre-cold ever. To make it worse the water machines at my school were all broken

The temperature in my room is currently 88 Fahrenheit. Don’t like how that’s looking.

It's really hot in this room too but for some reason my dad always thinks it's cold at night. It's a lot warmer in this house than where I stay in Sweden. As for the weather, brutal. it started lashing rain again a while ago and got really dark. I was half expecting more thunder and dreaded it somewhat after hearing ths story with the roofs going on fire yesterday.

Wait, was it raining in Ireland??

Yup checked the weather now, real bad. And again, another excessive heat warning!

Man why can't i get rain, thunder, and lightning? Instead i get hot sun.

It's very common to get some of that after extremely hot days...

I'm only a few kilometers away from the place where it happened. I was sitting here with headphones on, seen how dark it got and thought wow that looks awful. Then it started raining extremely heavily, and I thought I heard thunder (I had music playing on my headphones), then when I heard it again, I removed one side and noticed it was definitely thunder. I seen a flash then a few minutes later too while looking at my screen, and thought "I wonder if that was close", but since it took about 20 seconds to hear it, it didn't seem like it. Today then, I heard the news about the fires and was like "wait what!". I thought the thunder was further away than that to be honest.

Sounds like a close shave! Thank God you're all right anyway!

The weather is a complete mess recently here... It feels either like winter cold or hot as a heat wave.
Though it was fine today even if we got a bit of rain.
