To make things more clear, my PS2 model is a SCPH-90004. I think the problem happens with every PS2 since it also happened to a friend of mine that is an owner of a Fat PS2 Silver edition.

Yes, though the PS3 emulates, so your mileage may vary depending on how emulation rubs you.

Russians had fan translations of pretty much all PS1 games. Crash and Rayman were very popular in Russia

So I seem to remember my PAL PS1 version of Rayman 1 having a drumstick obstacle in the sidescrolling part of Gong Heights, however, when I played it on the NTSC and PSN (PAL) versions, it was not there. It is also not there on the map for that part on the wiki. Is my memory wrong or were there different versions of this part?

That's incredibly odd. That was there in all the versions I played. You're referring to right after the cage, right?

The first video is of the PAL version of the game. The second video is of the NTSC version of the game.
