I'm aware of the fact, what I found "neat" was the fact that it was done in Revolution.
Yeah, I admit this is cool but not neat :mryellow:
Anyway, forgot to tell that but GG lagrogne ;)

Let's just accept 'neat' as a colloquialism of 'cool' given their incredibly subjective nature, like any normal person would, and not be an overly-technical dick about it. :hap:

Alright then, pedanticism won't get us anywhere indeed.

My next question then, is how exactly did he get there in the first place? From what Plum said, it seems he teleported there.

The cutscene map is actually part of the Crow's Nest map, it's just hidden from view. It's there so they don't have to put a loading screen between the cutscene and the actual battle. He just used a moonjump cheat to fly there, I guess.

He told that he teleported by accident while he was trying to make rayman flying

That "teleporting" would be the same as flying into an area that isn't visible from the outside. ;)

Actually I think it means he was in the arena one instant, then immediately appeared in the cabin. Obviously he got the address for Rayman's X- or Y-coordinate in the map rather than for turning flying on and off. It was basically pure luck. At least that's the impression I got from his post…

So he was somehow able to modify Rayman's coordinates? That'd be pretty handy in map exploration.

Yes, cheat engine but it's different per level and pcsx2 version sadly. I managed to do it too but it's very horrible

I was thinking about the name temple_delire, and it seems to suggest that Rayman's supposed trip to the Cave of Bad Dreams was indeed some kind of delirious nightmare (which was an idea I got on my first playthrough many years ago, and that I've seen floating around here once or twice).

If that's the case, how do the textures that ended up in the Tomb relate to the Cave? They don't seem to fit in with the Cave's aesthetic, yet they're in this Delire folder alongside that Magic Sphere Door's textures.

Yeah, probably, I think the think which is cool is that they name skate levels of R3 sk8 (Sk-eight) :oops2:

Perhaps that room was originally an arena in which Jano was to be fought (as in, properly, rather than in a chasing fashion). It would have been a really deep room in the volcano (assuming that's what they originally wanted to do) with a more formal purpose than all the other caverns. Perhaps those pipes would originally have been pouring lava rather than green stuff, and perhaps the textures were re-coloured slightly when the place was re-purposed.

EDIT: These ideas are just basically flowing from my brain to the keyboard. I realise now they're probably not 100% consistent. My, this texture-editing has certainly rekindled my passion for this game!

Hmm, an interesting idea indeed. It's a shame that we can't figure out more with what we got.

Hehe, I'm glad to see that the whole texture unlocking effort has rekindled your passions, these are some very fascinating and fun ideas you've been coming up with.

Nice ideas :mryellow: !
Btw, I'm pretty sure we could access to inreachable maps with a level editor :)

Hell, if we had a level EDITOR, I'd be making a whole new game! :P

Concurred, it definitely would get me interested in exploring that sort of thing.

Weheh I'd probably be prototyping most of my design ideas in that editor until the time that my own programming is powerful enough to handle my needs.

I'd love to know what sort of editor they used. Perhaps it still exists somewhere in UbiSoft.

I hope lol, we already know that Rayma Revolution uses Rendedware 3 IIRC
