No no, actually you're right, that was my first thought too XD the music has that... "sexy feeling" with the trumpets XD just check this at 2:00
I don’t see any similarity, apart from the fact that they both involve a saxophone.

You may be onto something there. Has anyone tried speeding up the Band Land music or slowing down the Origins theme to compare them?
All right guys, I got a confirmation directly from Ubisoft: Rayman Origins is scheduled for release for Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 25. This applies to Europe, but I'm not sure about the rest of the world.

That's supposed to be the similarity, the saxophone. What Raytunes and I tried to say is that the songs share similarities in style, not the tune itself, the songs are obviously different, yeah, but they share the style, you know what I'm talking about.
Also... the moskito's theme when you ride him in R1 is loosely similar to the one in RO (That's not the song of Moody Clouds, because we can hear the same song with a different style in the new daily bubble, during the water level when rayman rides moskito to turn a crab into a bubble)

I have a stupid mac. Not that PC's better, I'm just really mad with my mac crashing all the time. What's more, a few months ago it worked fine, just like the day I bought it. All of a sudden, it won't boot. I had to format it, took me a few hours to salvage what I could from the decaying ruins of the old partition.
Still, be grateful you aren't as susceptible to viruses, I've performed about 5 system restores and 2 clean Windows reinstalls thanks to them.
Honestly I've never followed one of these in my life. I just saw this now, noticed I happened to be following all of those, then was like "wow, this is a spot-on article."
I'd agree, but I followed those rules anyway, along with constant virus scans.

thanks Hunch. Maybe you can try and ask them about a PC version of RO? (yes, I still have some hope)
Oh and by the way, do you have any update regarding those 20 questions that you sent Ubi at the beginning of september?
SCREAM! Master4lyf! Hurry! Change your alignment to baddies! Uglette is burning my eyes! BURNING THEM!!!
Anyways, I'm gonna go try view the new DB on my sister's laptop, since I can't see it on my one.
Guys, I won't be online as much for the next, what? 2-3 weeks, because my birthday's coming up, and I'm hoping to get a PS3, but since my mum already hates videogames, I guess being on the computer 2-3 hours straight everyday is kinda ruining my chances...
Since there's not much news now, I think I'll bring this up: If the teensie standing on the platform in the trailer is Mr Dark, then that ruins a whole other plot they could've had. Because they could've had Rayman and Mr. Dark the only two of their kind, and then there's stuff like Mr Dark tempting Rayman to join him, them both finding out what happened to their species, yadda yadda yadda...you get the point. I guess it'd be too Harry Potter-like though...

If find the ‘We are not so different’ and ‘Join me on the dark side’ plots rather clichéd. I hope they go for the end-game twist with the Dark Teensy becoming Mr Dark – as far as I am aware, that is something we have never seen in a game before.
