I dislike the use of a controller, it cramps my style. 360 isn't so bad, but PS3 just puts your thumbs in unnatural positions. I also would one-hundred percent of the time prefer a keyboard (and mouse if needed) over a controller; part of my experience actually comes from the sole fact that I'm playing it on a computer. I can't believe Ubi wouldn't just release a PC version along with the rest, especially since used to be their main platform, and it's BY FAR the easiest to manufacture.
Sorry for not being up to date. Like I said, I want as fresh an experience as possible.
wait what about wii

The sale price in euros for the non-CE game is like €60,-

I can't help noticing that we are mostly shown screenshots and gameplay from the same environments. So, either we've already seen most of the game and there won't be much diversity, or they're keeping the rest hidden (maybe even Picture City!) until it's released. I hope it's the latter.

I'm pretty sure they're gonna show at least one gameplay video from the LotD before release. Hopefully in a DB. Hopefully today.

They probably has much more than this, including the Land of the Dead and the 'dark' areas you unlock after each level. I think that the Daily Bubbles will go through every area in the game, but that it doesn't show off all the locations, who might be very different from each other. I still think we're going to see the 'classic' Band Land at some point in the game.

Yeah..
Maybe they will show Picture City today in a new DB

If Picture City is to appear in Origins, they're probably not going to show it before release, else why would they have kept it secret until now?

They didn't. It was mentioned in two articles following Gamescom. The fact that that employee from Ubi didn't mention it in an interview is most likely mistake.

RayFan, the game is also going to the Wii and the 3DS. But the Wii version won't have the same graphism as the HD consoles sadly. The Vita version is scheduled to 2012.
I would also prefer a lot more to play RO in the PC but apparently if they intend to release the game for it, it will be only later due to piracy issues.
Oh well, I won't mind to play in the consoles for now.

If the Wii version and the HD versions are equal, then I'll laught. Maybe there will be small quality differences, but that's not the big deal, it's like watching a youtube video without HD, you can see clearly everything and enjoy it.

I’ve never had trouble with any controller, ever. Do you have really tiny hands or something?

I don't believe the problem is in the hands size because I also prefer to play in keyboards than in controllers, because I have much more gameplay experience in keyboards than in controllers.

The Wii version ain't gonna look like that, no siree. It's gonna look way less blurry, and besides, if I can see the game on the Wii the same way I see it on the computer, I'm not complaining.

Well, you know this is fake, right? quality doesn't have anything to do with the focus. I know that because my photography teacher told me and he manages video cameras too. The focus is the easiest thing you can use to edit an image on photoshop without making it look pixeled. There are different ways in videogame programming to compress graphics. If what you say was true, then the 3ds and ps vita versions may look terribly blurry, and that isn't happening.

No, the Wii version will look less blurry and more jagged. But good for you if you find that satisfactory.

The image I posted was created by Hunch to demonstrate the significant difference between 480p and 1080p. As regards your point, I’m pretty sure that the 3DS and Vita run on more powerful hardware than the Wii – resolution is not the only factor that determines graphics, so your observation is not relevant.
Why must you take every opportunity to downplay the importance of graphics to games? You often remark that ‘HD isn’t everything’, praise the Wii, and on one occasion even went so far as to attempt to persuade another member not to buy a HD system. You appear to have a Wii – maybe you feel compelled to bash HD systems in order to justify your purchase? Judging by your reaction to Pirate-Community’s decision not to host the soundtrack of Rayman Origins illegally, I can’t help but wonder if your hostility towards HD systems is due to your inability to afford them? Hopefully you won’t use this as an excuse to rage indignantly, as I really would like to get to the bottom of this!

That collector's edition cover art (and all the rest) looks lovely. Much better than the normal cover.
Game Mania in Belgium and the Netherlands still sells it for the normal Rayman Origins price ( just under €60 ), while they also updated the cover art. That means Dutchies like me are in luck.

Now just give me a poster of the Collector's Edition's cover art and I can't be happier ^^
