This habit that this computer has with powering off suddenly when it wants to change the start-up Wallpaper or update is getting quite old.

If it's suddenly shutting off, perhaps it's overheating? If it's on a surface such as a blanket or is filled with dust that can happen. If so, blowing compressed air into where the fan exhausts could break up the dust enough to clear some of it and help it keep working.

I know about the overheating thing happening for laptops specifically, since they do shut off for safety reasons.

The dust could be the problem. But it looks clean to me. Maybe from looking at it from the outside, anyway.

It could be a simple crash?..

If it was overheating, it would happen after it's been on for a while, then it would just randomly shut off as if you removed the power. The dust would be on the inside of the heatsink (where the air exhausts from the fan), so you wouldn't see it from the outside.
