Shut it spiral. I made a mistake, don't rub it in my face.
And Xenon...
Ok, maybe you didn't insult me as such. But when you said "It only takes a smidgen of common sense to realise that" that hit me quite hard believe it or not. I don't know why, it just did.
And Spiral, like I said, shut up. Your complaining's getting tiring anyway, what with all the RZ stuff about "Click this link for a much better Rayman forum.

Ok...back on topic before this get real bad. I've been baptized but I don't believe in Christianity, but it's funny how my brother is christian (the last time I checked he was) and he never got baptized. xD My granddad was a very religious person (The Ukraine are very religious :B) and he died before my brother was born so maybe that's why.

* What are you talking about? Which "mistake" is this and how am I "rubbing it in your face"? All I said was that I thought you were going to leave after you read the last page. You left last time you received constructive criticism. You're
hypersensitive.
** What "complaining" is this? For those who don't know, my signature on RaymanZone is the sentence "Click this link to a much better Rayman forum", which brings to the Pirate-Community Portal. And I've made less than ten posts since the last hack, which was when I adopted this sig. I completely fail to see what your point is.
And why are you telling
ME to shut up? I actually resisted the temptation to insult you, unlike Tobbe, who said just a couple of posts ago that it would be "Good riddance" if you left (which, by the way, I completely agree with).

I don't want to argue with you.
I don't want to turn this thread in to an arguement.
In short, leave me alone, all of you.
(And yes I'm hypersensitive. I know. That's just me.)

Okay, that perfectly explains your post at the top of the page.
Now, where where were we...? Ah yes. God. I wonder why God requires angel, seen as he's supposedly everywhere.

Angels are his followers, not his guardians, if that's what you're thinking.

But why would he even create them? They can't do anything that he can't do himself, can they? Or perhaps they are him, or rather, expressions of his will or something.
My above post is missing the "s" from the word "angels". But I don't want to edit it, because it would look bad. Damn.

You can ask the same question about Satan and devils...

The father, the son and the holy ghost. Virgin Mary, arch-angels, normal angels and saints. Monotheistic religion my ass!

@Serza: You mean "demons", not "devils". There is only one devil, and that is Satan. And the devil/Satan didn't create the demons, they were angels who (like him) rebelled against God. And, not being omnipresent and omnipotent, Satan needs as many servants as he can get.
@Tobbe: Thy polytheistic religions are better, anyway. My favourite is the Greek one. Titans are autumn.

Aah, I understand. I don't pay a lot of attention in RME. We mostly watch movies. :B

If you're like this as an 11 year old girl then god forbid when you turn 13.

So do we.
Makes you wonder about the curriculum.
I haven't been taught anything about Satan or demons at school, but I do find that aspect of Christianity interesting. Now, if only there was a game based on it...

There's anime based on christianity

No joke. But yeah we're learning about the right and wrongs of capital punishment in RME (by that I mean watch random videos based on true stories about CP).

A action game where you get to be Satan and overthrow the evil monster known as God, now that would be awesome.

We're having a big project on Darwin and Evolution in TechSci atm. We watched Ben Stein's Intelligent Design propaganda movie
Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed this Friday. Worst piece of shit I've ever seen. It repeatedly claims that there are huge holes in the Theory of Evolution, but it never makes any attempt to explain what these holes are (read: bullshit). Stein goes on to interview a bunch of people who have written favourably about Intelligent Design who claim that they've been expelled from the universities they worked at for promoting ID (a quick google search confirms my suspicions that these claims are fabricated by Stein). He also somehow arrives at the conclusion that Evolution is the cause of the Holocaust (

). The narrator (Ben Stein himself) tries to create the impression that the movie contains a purely scientific, not political or religious, message, a claim which blows up in his face when he makes his closing statement: "Understanding god leads to peaceful cooperation and coexistance. Darwinism leads to murder."
The scary thing was that a lot of my classmates seemed to partially agree with him...

I can't imagine that your classmates are too bright, if they're won over
that easily
Despite Ireland's strong Roman Catholic reputation, I don't think anyone in my class really believes in God. The Church lost a lot of credibility with the whole...you know...

that Evolution is the cause of the Holocaust ( ).
Another case of someone not knowing what he's talking about.
In nature, the strongest survive, that's true. But it doesn't mean that you should go around and kill everyone that's not roman. Darwin can't do anything about Hitler misusing his theory.
I really hate how some people believe in God and wan't to make a movie against evolution. But they don't even learn and read about it.
