Now Hamlet was hasty in attempting to unveil all our identities, but do you have any other reason to target him? I see reason for him to be slapped across the face with a glove, or even thrown in prison for a day, but not to be outright killed.

You can collect taxes without barging into our private lives, Hamlet. Explain yourself as well?
Private lives? All I request is your rolename, not your ability or even your alliance. Unless you are of a villainous nature, you should have no issues with this; even if I was Mafia, what could I gain from your rolename? Mafians will be looking for powerful roles to kill off, and your rolename is not a sufficient amount of information to gauge such things. So please, kindly send me your rolename; however, if you are uncomfortable with giving your name to a stranger, allow me to introduce myself:
Mafia Host wrote:You are Jacques Necker.

You are the finance minister of France, perhaps the most popular minister of the century. Your clever actions save France from financial ruin, however you could not stop the Revolution. Still, you managed to gain popularity and people's respect.

You do not have any special Night Actions. However, because of your popularity, you hold more decision making power than the other players. As a result, your vote counts as two votes when voting for Lynches.

You win if the people eliminate the Terror leaders.
As I say, co-operation is appreciated, so if you could kindly send me your rolename and I can get my operations.

As for the Lynch I am inclined to vote No Lynch for now.

Good Day fellows, I shall hope to see you this evening.

Night 1

As the sun goes down, the streets of Paris become very quiet. People get back to their houses and barricade the doors. Eventhough the crowd decided not to lynch anyone a few hours ago, it is not very likely that this night will go just as peacefully...

Alright, Night 1 starts now. Send me your night actions! Remember, if you don't wish to do anything at night, send me a PM entitled "Night 1 - Idling".

It's quiet now, but what will it be like later on today?

If Sierra dies tonight, we can know that Hamlet is part of the Terror group!

Who would you kill then, if it wasn't too early?
The reason I'm voting not to lynch is because it's too early to frame anyone.

Why would you want to frame anyone? The point of the game is to kill the Terror Group (that's what they're called?), not to frame random people and have them lynched.

Unless you are from the Terror Group, of course, in which case it would make perfect sense...

I didn't say anything about "randomly" framing people you moron! Also, you don't have to tell me the point of the game. :?

I find these suspicious. :mefiant:

I also dislike how Hamlet is asking people for their roles.

I'm willing to ignore this little ''incident'', but you did mark me as a potential terrorist, so I'll keep an eye on you for now. :mefiant:

In this game, everyone's a potential terrorist.

Why did you find my post suspicious? You just accused Hamlet, so if you die now, it will look like he is in the group. :?

If I were you, I'd keep calm and get a good night's rest. Nothing is gained without having a sound mind.

And I have no reason to doubt you, Hamlet, but at the same time, your sudden openess can easily be counted toward suspicion.

Notice: unless stated otherwise, your night actions can be used indefinitely. Even though it is more than obvious, some people don't seem to have realised.

It feels nice to play the most advanced Mafia game yet. Did anyone add this to the PC documentary?

No smart Mafian would do that, were I one. If Sierra dies tonight it is much more liekly that the Mafia is trying to frame me, and cause us to Lynch one of our own (ie me).

Anyway, a few of you have not yet sent me your rolenames, so I urge the remainders to hurry up and do so, or be cast under suspicion.

By the way, if there is an inspector in this game, and he does not want to announce himself publicly, please send your results to me. It is beneficial to my plan to organise the village, and will protect the inspector.

Also, in case I get killed tonight, I would like to congratulate teh Mafia on their stupidity in killing a player with a near-useless ability.

Notice: several players did not send their night actions tonight. In a last attempt to make you realise that participation is primordial in this game, we will count them as idling. However, please keep in mind that from now on, any failure to send me your night action will result in elimination and possibly a ban from the next mafia games.

The citizens of Paris wake up as a growing clamour can be heard in the streets. And the news isn't good: tonight, two bodies were found by the police.

The first one, is that of Skyscraper, whose identity is quickly revealed. The wound - a single gunshot in the neck - indicates that the murder was probably not carried out by a random citizen.
Mafia Host wrote:You are Louis-Sébastien Mercier.

You are a dramatist and a writer. You were born in Paris to a humble family, but you nevertheless received a decent education. "There is no better writer to consult," Robert Darnton writes about you, "if one wants to get some idea of how Paris looked, sounded, smelled, and felt on the eve of the Revolution."

At night, you may investigate a player. Send me a PM entitled "Night X - Investigate [USER]" and you will find out what they did during that night.

If you do not wish to do anything at night, send a PM to me entitled "Night X - Idling".

You win if the people eliminate the Terror leaders.
The second victim is Aviator, whose body was found in a gruesome alley, displaying numerous stab wounds.
Mafia Host wrote:You are Camille Desmoulins.

You are a French journalist, mainly because of your failure as a lawyer. Your interest in public affairs also led you to a career in politics, which can benefit from your publications.

At night, you may publish a short text. Send me a PM entitled "Night X - Publish" and, unless something interrupts you, your message will appear in my announcement the next day, without any indication that you wrote it.

If you do not wish to do anything at night, send a PM to me entitled "Night X - Idling".

You win if the people eliminate the Terror leaders.
Fear strikes the citizens, as two of them were murdered tonight. A voice can be heard: 'So-called terrorists, be prepared! Things are going to change when you least expect it.' As you head to the town squares, you keep wondering the same thing: who are the Terror leaders, and how to get rid of them?

Alright, Day 2 starts now. So do lynch votes! Remember, if you don't wish to lynch anyone, post "Day 2 - No Lynch".

Shit, that's not good. Now you see people, we need to get organised. For those who haven't already, a simple rolename is all I ask. But a leap of faith is recommnded; with your role pms I can hopfully try and orchestrate this game in favour of the village. If you don't trust me, fine, but I'm just trying to play this game, and win it. The village can't just sit idly by while the Mafia pick us off with ease and we lynch based on vague comments and near-baseless accusations, we have to get out and find out who we can trust, and who we can't. We need evidence, answers, and without taking risks there will be no reward. Think about this carefully fellow villagers. We've already lost two of uour kind; time is of the essence.

If you would like proof of my role, this is what I propose; say we decide to choose between Diplodocus (this is for example purposes only) and No Lynch. Vote so that there are say, 5 votes for No Lynch and 6 for Diplodocus. I will then vote No Lynch. If a tie is announced (whatever may happen in this instance) it will prove that I'm a phoney; my single ordinary vote was only sufficient to cause a tie. However, if No Lynch is the majority - which I assure you, it would be - then it should be a sufficient amount of evidence to prove my ability and reliability.***

However, I would rather not resort to such inconvenient and annoying measures just to prove myself to you. We do not have the time to stuff around, so YOUR CO-OPERATION IS APPRECIATED!

***It turns out a tied vote results in No Lynch, so this might not work unless it gets stated specifically that it was a tie. So instead, if you choose to do this, you should end with the votes in favour of No Lynch so that my vote will Lynch a user.
