It's funny to think that whenever Homer Simpson says "mmm, chocolate..." he's probably thinking of the American stuff, which I've never tried but sounds awful!
I never actually thought about this, did he think "the Land of Chocolate" was actually going to taste like the bad chocolate too?

Can this be my Christmas present then, some nice not-American chocolate?
I'm with Jonster, we want real chocolate for Christmas. Thanks guys!
Steo wrote: Fri Dec 15, 2023 12:52 pm
Ironically people often say the American candy is better, so we we need to exchange some candy for chocolate.
Do you know what kind of candy, specifically? Who knows, maybe we could always arrange something!

Probably, little does he know, better chocolate exists elsewhere.

Since I actually like chocolate, I feel kind of bad for people who get this "fake" chocolate now.

Lol. I’m sure you can find some authentic “Real chocolate” somewhere ay?

I've heard Mondelez sell "Cadbury's" in America but it's really Hershey's

Poor clueless Homer, he doesn't know what he's missing.

Ah, but he's missing out on the patent pending Hunchymunchy's Chocolate Crunch bar! It may contain a little bit of alcohol, but Homer would absolutely go nuts for it!

I remember eating Cadbury's when visiting relatives in Australia years ago. That was good stuff too. Speaking of which, that's how I also discovered Tim Tam cookies! Love those things!

But yeah it's really more of Hershey chocolate in America. The sadness...not that I don't like it, but I'm sure tastier stuff out there.

That’s why dairy milk allegedly tastes horrible in the US of A

Yes that's about as likely as pink cows giving out strawberry milk, or yellow cows giving off banana milk.

Yeah, sure, and you also drink cows if they're drawn on the milk carton.
I'm not going to mention the person who thought that when that person was younger...

I mean if we could drink/eat whatever's on things, then I'm sure everytime I see something with a chocolate bar on it I will walk up to it and eat it since I like chocolate.
