What did the Collectors Edition contain again? It better not be extra in game footage.
The World Map looks fun! But, isn't a world showing clouds and instruments a bit misleading when 90% of the world is desert themed? Plus, the Electoon talks in English!

The disco song reminds me of Eminem's FACK.

Non-HD console and older console are true and possible facts for a Collector's Edition not being released to here.
Luckly the price cut done at Gamescom for the PS3 give us a hand.

I'd like both since both are extremely important aspects of the Rayman series and in my opinion, are one of the biggest reasons the franchise took off, the music in ALL Rayman games are astoundingly beautiful and magical, and the visuals is what has also made Rayman stand out from many other platformers.

Damn it! What does HD have to do with it? The Nintendo Wii is still sold daily, has become a huge success, and so many play it. HD means upgraded graphics, not Collectors Edition.
''HD stands for High Defenition''
''No! It stands for Collectors Edition!''
Good rhyme.
I fail to see why HD is so important to people. I really don't mind a Wii. Take Sonic Generations for an example: They only want the game released in HD. Yet more than half of the Sonic isn't even in HD.
Bullshit.

I guess you could buy both an Xbox collector's edition and a Wii copy. Has that thought occurred to anyone? Come on, it's the first Rayman game in eight years.

What am I to do with a useless XBox copy?

Benefit from the Xbox collector's items? I thought that was heavily implied in my post.

You would have All the goodies, and then you coud just sell the Xbox copy

Only problem is, you don't have the original games case, you just have the Collector's edition case.

At least if I don't get able to get a PS3 in the end, I'll do what RayFan suggests: getting a Wii version and the PS3 Collector's Edition version just for the goodies.

Its popularity does not make it a superior product.

You have lower standards than I do.
Now can we all agree to stop lashing out bitterly at products we can’t afford? HD is a massive upgrade from SD. If SD is good enough for you, that’s cool with me, but you can stop harping on about how pointless and shallow and snobbish you apparently perceive HD entertainment to be.

Indeed, I would also thank that everyone that is ranting about the unexistence of the C.E. for Wii, to interiorize that it will just be for the two HD consoles and finito.

I'm pretty sure the game itself will have a regular edition case. Then that + all the goodies are tucked inside a bigger cardboard box (Collector's edition box). Most CE's of other games are like this, don't really see why Origins would be different from them.
(personally though I wouldn't sell the game out as it would lower the value of CE.. but that's just me :') )
