I’m curious on how you see the UK and US then

I see the US as doomed.

The UK is the land of Fish and Chips. I can’t think of anything else atm.

I see the US in a lot of different ways, but it’s usually a bunch of Christian rednecks in trucks

But it still is , But theres like no more Snow anymore

I checked the Ontario weather and it was only 9°C. Pretty much the same weather as the UK

Today it should have rained, but the weather predictions were wrong, at least on the side of the city I was in.
That's good because today I went to a Japanese convention and it all went great

I went to a Japanese convention in August! What did YOU see when you went?

The convention I went to today is usually done every month, and so there is always the same stuff when it comes to stands to purchase stuff, maybe what changes is the event programming and the guests invited, for example in the last edition I met the ambassador of Japanese cuisine in Italy and I chatted with him, it was a great experience!
This time I just went to see the stands and look at the cosplayers around me

Yeah! I didn't even know that he was there until I saw him, if I knew it I would have brought one of his recipe books with me and asked him to sign them

A signed recipe book? that’d actually be brilliant, although I don’t know if you’d be allowed to share any recipes

His recipes can also be found online, he uploaded some recipe videos, not sure you can follow them since he talks in Italian in all of them

The city flooded yesterday, sort of like it did in 2021 where my whole basement was 6 inches deep in water, and I luckily had like 3 shock-vacs to pump out tens of thousands of of litres of water roughly as fast as it was coming in. We installed a sump with a pump though since then, but even then I woke up to like half an inch of water in the laundry room. It's been a torrential downpour for a week straight, and it's going to keep going until Wednesday where it's taking one day off, then resuming again for another week... oh boy

This is the view from my brother's apartment:

I’ve never actually seen a flood before, since I live on an elevated area

It is dark and cold right now. Prob cuz its 5 am (I have to be up by 6 to go to school)

It’s a bit gloomy and 12°C right now, with a light patter according to the forecast (although I don’t see it)
