Yeah, New Year's Eve is a peculiar day for a birthday, but it ensures that every year ends quite well for me.
We celebrate the New Year the same time as everyone else (Albeit a few hours ahead because of timezone differences) so the Summer weather is helpful, as it means the night isn't so cold.
