i'll just go make models for my own game thenShrooblord wrote:Ooh ooh je voudrais modeller pour toi!
@RF2K: it's nothing serious. The servers have been having some work done to them, so there will be outages from time to time. You'll be able to get back in now, probably. Next time, come back the next day and see what's up.

Hey, Ad - I liked your description of the Aeropolis scene. I'm starting to wonder where you'll take Rayman throughout the game! (And that's coming from someone who's inventing a whole world for Rayman to visit.
Do you happen to have any new music to play for us?
Wasn't there also this (amusing) piece of text:Fouadtjuhmaster wrote:Clark? I'm sure he'll break some Gravelaves in half! Too bad Sssssam is not in the gameAdsolution wrote: - Clark (group)
Clarke - Another part of Ly's resistance group, Clarke is the rock, the stone, the stability that can blast brute force through the group like no other. He is first seen earlier in Mount Kollapso plowing through stone men (in a non-homosexual context. Though this speaks not one way or the other for his orientation.)
Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
I am quite fond of that concept Adsolution. Yet it also leaves me slightly disappointed for my own personal reasons.
EDIT: I'm no longer going to post on here. I myself am starting to feel outdated compared to everyone else on this forum. I've had my moment and now it's gone. It's gotten to the point where every time I post I regret it shortly after. Therefor when I am done this edit I am going to log out and never log back in.

Can I know which part bugs you if possible?R3fan2 wrote:I am quite fond of that concept Adsolution. Yet it also leaves me slightly disappointed for my own personal reasons.
Please, stop the angst, it's ridiculous. Every new member to the board is technically 'outdated', yet they don't feel the need to be so utterly self-conscious. Do I feel that you're 'outdated'? No - in regards to Legends, there's a good chance I know even less about it than you now - you're simply a sparse poster. Your posts are absolutely good by all means, the unfortunate part us that in many of them you leave a note under describing your completely unrelated self-consciousness about a totally nonexistent problem. Besides, why are you attempting to foresee your later emotions? This is the third time you've said that you will never return, yet here you are. If you don't feel the need to log in then don't. If you feel like logging in and posting, then do so.R3fan2 wrote:EDIT: I'm no longer going to post on here. I myself am starting to feel outdated compared to everyone else on this forum. It really bugs me how you've left a personal distaste for something without actually offering critique, and now you claim you're going to log out forever; that's basically dropping a mystery bomb before you leave that will now haunt us for the rest of time. I have no problem whatsoever with someone disliking something, so long as they can at the very least explain why.
Sorry, I missed this. That'd be neat, but can you do high-poly, detailed models?Shrooblord wrote:i'll just go make models for my own game thenShrooblord wrote:Ooh ooh je voudrais modeller pour toi!
None whatsoever, aside from some random piano sketches.Shrooblord wrote:Do you happen to have any new music to play for us?

Not sure. You never did tell me what you thought of my (albeit work-in-progress) model. Does that begin to come close to what you'd like (even though I definitely realise it's incredibly low-poly)?Adsolution wrote:Sorry, I missed this. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so getting it to look just right will probably not be a big deal for me. If you want it more detailed, I'll detail it [read: whatever you request of me] further.

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
It looks quite nice, though it isn't enough for me to pass of any kind of a proper assessment. In order for me to tell, I'd have to see quite a few models, and perhaps have you do a request on top of that.
Well, since it's being hosted on RaymanPC, the server issues need to be fixed first before we can actually start really putting it together. Though, I do have a mindmap of its supposed layout as well as some much more up-to-date text.Bionichute wrote:How's the website coming along?

Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
Ah-hah. Well that'll take some time then, since that was practically the first model I have ever made, save for that Stalkbot you helped me out with earlier in the IRC when I had trouble rigging it (incidentally, I have since decided to start using bones instead of CATrigs; more flexibility in workflow and a lot less buggy, it seems). Whenever you feel like giving me a request, go ahead. Whenever I have anything to show you, you'll see it pop up!Adsolution wrote:It looks quite nice, though it isn't enough for me to pass of any kind of a proper assessment. Re: Rayman: Revenge of the Dark
Wait, Sssssam is not in the game? I thought Sssssam would make an appearance in levels like the Crying Moor or Penumbra Ocean (well, this maybe fits better to Carmen the Whale) as part of Ly's resistance group. He would make a good scout I suppose. Or maybe they just become acquainted for the first time. However, I want to be surprised whether he's in or not.Fouadtjuhmaster wrote:Clark? Sssssam is in the game, I just forgot to put him in the 'lazy list'.
He shows up in Canyon of the Lost.

Ah, that's great to hear. I wondered a little bit about it because there is a little bit to explain regarding the friendship of Rayman and Sssssam seen in Rayman 2.Adsolution wrote:Sssssam is in the game, I just forgot to put him in the 'lazy list'.

Are the pre-Henchmens of the canceled Rayman 2-prototype the guardians of the General? Beside Monoculous and the General, are there any other other baddies like the red robot or the Tronco guy (http://www.unseen64.net/wp-content/gall ... beta34.jpg) from the canceled Rayman 2 prototype in the game? Just curious, because I'm recently very interested in this prototype and soaking up every information on it like a sponge.
I think Ubisoft worked on a great game in these early days, would be cool if they finished it and release it as a modernized spin-off, similar to Jungle Run (in terms of release not gameplay!). They had some interesting ideas like the warping shower and the robo-dinosaurs. Hell, a full title would be great, too.

The General will not only make a cameo appearance, he commands the warship "Hyperborea".Fouadtjuhmaster wrote:The General... [*]Into the Blaze - Rayman is welcomed from the emerging of the underground by the raging war above. The General, Dark Rayman's most beastly assistant, pilots the giant war ship of Hyperborea. The ship is in the midst of destroying everything in its path, and villagers flee to safety, if there is a such thing. You must board the ship, defeat the General, destroy it, whilst saving an unexpected friendly foe.

Ew, my writing from back then is not up to my current standards.
