And he's more immature in Origins, to the point that he is Globox's "DOUBLE"!

I wonder how old you would say he was in Origins? More to the point, will they show him maturing to the Rayman we already know or is he going to remain with the maturity of a rude adolescent? (like me... WAIT A SECOND...)

Since Rayman just have "born" on that moment then he is 0 years old and a couple of seconds, minutes, hours...

About his behaviour, he is on a phase to discover his true personality, it just needs time and to earn life experience among other creatures and events.

Hmm.

Speaking of Origins, now it's been released and he acts like some arrogant 15yo my theory needs rethinking.

For all we know, one million centuries passed between Origins and Rayman 1. Rayman isn't human, so perhaps he can survive that long with out being a shrivelled mess by the end of it? He is magical, and meant to protect the universe, which sounds like it could take some time...

I personally believe he is 237 years old. He was born a man-child - and man-children never die.

No, I think MLII just meant that it was announced.

That would explain why Betilla looks much older in Rayman 1. But a thought occurred to me... Rayman is shown using his powers in Origins. Didn't he have to gain them from Betilla in R1? I wonder what's up with that... will he lose them before the events of R1 and have to get them back? (seems a bit like R2 all over again)

The possibility that I can imagine is Rayman for some reason loosing his memory about his previous acts and his powers.

I think he doesn't really have an age.
when they created the games it doesn't mean he has to be as old as the game

Makes sense. Although, he never uses his powers in the same way as in the other games, does he?

Rayman has a Bag of Spilling, probably for gameplay purposes more than anything else.

This series usually avoids this (could use heli hair from R2's start, punch as soon as he got his fists back in R3 as well as heli hair, etc.)

I have no idea what the Bag of Spilling is supposed to be.

Tropes are your best friend here. I'm glad someone else has a good knowledge of them. :D

And what does it do? (at the moment, I think it could kinda work with Haruka's theory)

I think:
Rayman1 10
Rayman m 11
Rayman 2 12
Rayman 3 15
:mryellow:

Either it was my rubbish memory, or I recall that Rayman was 12 in Rayman 1.

Hmm... If I remember correctly this text about Jimmy mentioned his age... Although this storyline was scrapped.
