Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I'd just like to point out with my whole scenario that for the most part Adsolution was very reasonable and tolerant (even thought I said otherwise). There were a few things that I wasn't happy with in regards to how he approached my situation, but hey not everyone deals with things like that in the first place. I spoke to Adsolution in PM's after the big upset in the thread and we worked through until we got a solution we both could be happy with. I said to Adsolution that I wasn't happy with his comment he made about my posts, and he agreed with me to a certain extend. Either way I don't totally know about this situation, but that's just my honest input for my dealings with Adsolution.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I aim to be a nice guy, I really do, and I'd love to be able to show this more often if I had the free time to make thirty posts a day in more casual topics - especially those discussing Rayman, and the forum games - and I apologise for whatever 'anger' or informality may seem apparent (I don't want to, but I'm going to very partially attribute this to personal circumstances, if you can excuse me there), but I'm still firm in what I'm trying to get across. Sonicbrawler, I think you're incredibly stubborn, hypocritical, and a pain in the freaking ass to speak to on almost any level (this has been agreed upon by many, both publicly and privately), and as much as I'd absolutely adore seeing you get the fuck out, the only thing I actually wish is for you to recognise those faults and do your best to fix them.
My doubts, however, still lie in this mildly upsetting quote:
I'm still letting you back out of this one.

Settle down you two XD
Anyways Ad, back on what I was saying before, if you're looking for 'Game of the year' material, you should perhaps wait for titles like the new Zelda, the new Smash Bros, and such... though it's a shame, I wanted to play Mario Kart online with you XD. Though with all the games Nintendo is releasing, we'll be seeing a LOT.

That was sort of the point of my last post, though I'm still interested in seeing Sanicbroller reply to it, as it is mildly important. It would be unfortunate- I would be quite remiss if he didn't, actually.Rayfist wrote:Settle down you two XD
A 3DS Zelda, Game of the Year? I doubt it (even though it'll very likely be good), though I can definitely see Smash Bros being up there, if it's executed properly. Smash Bros was actually one of the series I'd forgotten to mention earlier when it comes to quality, but then again, it's not exactly being developed by Nintendo so much as it is being published by them.Rayfist wrote:Anyways Ad, back on what I was saying before, if you're looking for 'Game of the year' material, you should perhaps wait for titles like the new Zelda, the new Smash Bros, and such... though it's a shame, I wanted to play Mario Kart online with you XD. Apparently Nintendo announced a Nintendo Direct for today at 16:00h GMT. Sadly I cannot see it since at that time I'm taking the metropolitan.

Mm, it's about time we heard from Kirby.
I'll have you know that this is one of my favourite English words. It's just so fun to say.Haruka wrote:metropolitan.
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I could say also underground or just metro, but I think I can understand why the word is fun to pronounce.

I like how Ad's only debating technique is to completely twist my words and make them sound like something totally different in his head, as well as to make more assumptions. Good job.
All that needs to be said on that matter. I'm done arguing with dense, biased people. I'll let people believe what they want, as I'm, again, far from the only one who thinks this is a case of you guys viewing things through rose tinted goggles.
I could literally pick apart every single mistake and shallow argument you've made, but you're so dense that it wouldn't do a thing. But that's fine. Whatever makes you feel happier.

I absolutely love his games and he is really awesome character. Who would expect a pink ball to be so cute and yet so badass at the same time?

What I'm most curious about is what Kirby inhaling an entire tree might mean. It's likely one of the main new mechanics of the game (inhaling large structures), but I have to wonder what it's implementation might be.
Also, I'd have to wonder whether or not they will bring back multiplayer. I hope they do.

1) I thought this argument was dropped.sonicbrawler182 wrote:I like how Ad's only debating technique is to completely twist my words and make them sound like something totally different in his head, as well as to make more assumptions. Good job.

2) You say you are "far from the only who who think this is a case of you guys viewing things through rose-tinted goggles," yet never once you mention a single person who believes this except you. Your arguments would be more believable if you actually providing evidence to back them up, rather than just spouting nonsensical, unsupported bullshit.

I hope online CO-OP will be in the game.sonicbrawler182 wrote:What I'm most curious about is what Kirby inhaling an entire tree might mean. It's likely one of the main new mechanics of the game (inhaling large structures), but I have to wonder what it's implementation might be.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
It is dropped, so why bring it up again?
I have mentioned someone. I never said they were a member of this site, but I clearly stated that I wasn't the only one who saw a problem here. And it was an unbiased person (meaning, someone who would not side with me because I'm me).
So there you go. Again, I'm not arguing with dense people who are clearly ignoring my posts.
@OCG: I too would also love online co-op. The 3DS would be the perfect system to support multiplayer Kirby action. My only worry is that the environments will be too detailed to handle it.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Sadly, Nintendo is not a big fan of online CO-OP even if environments can be handled on certin console as it seems (Mario 3D World). We should start a pettition for Kirby to have Online CO-OP (if it is possible judging from hardware).

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
That's the thing - Sakurai surprised me when he stated that characters like Ice Climbers would be difficult to implement in the 3DS version of Smash Bros, due to the 3DS chugging when dealing with too many character models at once.
Though I suppose the poly count on the models in Kirby might be lower, so maybe that would work in it's favour?
And yeah, Nintendo really does need to step up their online game.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I still hope Ice Climbers would be in Wii U version. No need to scrap them from game just because of 3DS.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I agree, but Sakurai has stated that he wants an identical roster on both versions.OldClassicGamer wrote:I still hope Ice Climbers would be in Wii U version. No need to scrap them from game just because of 3DS.
I don't understand his logic when making the 3DS version - it's not really a port, but it's not really a different game altogether, either. I'd rather he just make it a different game altogether, in terms of content. This way, the Wii U version wouldn't be limited.
It's especially disappointing when you consider that Sakurai completely pushed the Wii to it's limits with Brawl (including using a dual-layered disc, which most Wii games don't use). Considering how he has a lot more disc space to work with on Wii U, it would be nice for him to take advantage of it.
Then again, I have a feeling that Nintendo is going to want to keep both versions of the game relatively small in file size, so the game might have some appeal for digital buyers.
---------------
So I just watched the new Nintendo Direct.
It wasn't the most exciting one, but I'll talk about what I did like:
The stuff they showed off for A Link Between Worlds was really cool. That Shadow Link idea is the best use of StreetPass I've seen.
Also, the 3DS got a major system update - you can now use your Nintendo Network ID from the Wii U, on your 3DS (and if you haven't got a Nintendo Network ID, you can set one up from the 3DS). This means you can use the same wallet for both Wii U and 3DS eShop purchases. This is something that should of been done a long time ago, IMO, but I'm glad they are finally getting around to adding features like this.
Also, Miiverse has been added to the 3DS, including communities for 3DS games.
And they showed off a video titled "10 Things You Need to Know About Super Mario 3D World" - and let's just say that I actually kind of want this as a single player game now. Seriously, this stuff should of been revealed earlier. The game looks as fun as Rayman Legends to me, now. I still think they put online multiplayer in the game. But yeah, the game is looking awesome. I'll likely get it for Christmas.
That 5th unlockable character is a dream come true for me!
