I dunno, I think the track's better than the original Mr. Dark theme, but I don't even think it was meant to be for Mr. Dark, I think it was meant for The Magician.
But yeah, Ad can come up with his own amazing track for the final boss fight. He's been doing a great job so far with the music.

Yo how about not using music I originally composed at the exact time the composer of Origins composed this, somehow simultaneously creating the same piece from remote locations, and which I also want to use as an important track in my own Rayman game? That would make me feel a little better - having it in RotD too would piss me off - no offence, Ad, but please don't.

Hello! Uhh, I'm kinda new to forums and stuff, so I have no idea how to use this site correctly, heh, so please excuse my crappyness. But I've been subscribed to you for quite a while on youtube! (like, maybe 2 - 3 years?) and I would just like to say, what an amazing job you've done with this project so far. When I first saw this, I really didn't expect it to evolve like it has. I wish all the best to you!
Also, A question. I have been fond of the Magician as a character in the Rayman universe, and I was wondering, the betrayal in Origins? is that something you may have thought about for his story?

You know, I have to admit, when I saw that REALLY REALLY old video that had Rayman using some weird animations (They were the default animations I think) and the model being completely different, I thought the game was going to be horrible. I also thought you were gonna cancel it like every other fan game developer(s?) (except Sonic Team JR) and look at it now. If you showed someone the current version of the game, and then showed the same person the really old version, they'd probably think they were 2 independent games by different developers. I probably don't make sense right now, but anyway, I LOVE this and I really love how everyone's been on the journey since the topic was first made by sabertooth. I can't wait to see what the finished product will be like. Wait, I can, but I'm just very excited.

Hey there Cubed! Welcome to RaymanPC. Do feel free to introduce yourself on the new members thread.
I don't believe Ad has any plans for putting Origins/Legends related content in the game seeing how it was already planned years ago and is meant to take place between Rayman 1 and Rayman 2.
Not to mention that the Magician's betrayal was rather poorly done. :/

Yes actually, much of the way his character behaves in this game is sort of a foreshadowing to his antagonism in Origins.

That's basically all I wanted in regards to The Magician.

So I made an art... what do?

I based this off the in game sprite cut scene from Rayman on the gameboy color

Dark Rayman looks kinda fat, also it looks strange because his head is really close to his body...

Looks pretty neat.
Though Rayman's expression looks different, in the actual scene, it was more of shock and nervousness, here, it looks like he's mildly irritated, was that intentional?
