That movies been out for well over a decade, time for folks to let it go, methinks.
You two talking about wearing shorts in the cold and I'm here wearing a hoodie while I sleep xD

Yeah my duvet alone really isn’t enough, I have to wrap myself up in it to feel warm sometimes. Maybe I should bring out my weighted blanket that I haven’t worn in years.

Not a bad idea, for me I've opted for using a thin blanket to layer up on my regular duvet, it's easier to remove if it gets a bit too warm, but it also provides a layer of air insulation.

I'm the opposite where I'm always very warm when sleeping for some reason. Maybe my house is just generally a higher temperature. My room is rarely below 20 degrees Celsius, especially after the computer has been running. Sometimes on cold winter mornings it can go to 18 or below, but thats usually only temporary until either the heating comes on or I just turn on the computer for a while.

Well let's take into account that I live in a humid subtropical area!

Well why'd you go and do that then? My anecdotes are useless!

It's so ridiculously cloudy here that it's almost dark out before 5PM, even though it should be bright for another 2 hours or so. There are apparently storms and rain warning for the south-west and south-east tonight. The likes of Galway too etc. They were talking about orange and yellow rain alerts and possible river flooding.

For the first time since three weeks, it's raining quite heavily. Good for plants and rivers (the one next to my apartment was quite dire in terms of flow)
It's the greatest opportunity to test my waterproof biking gear...
... It's working great except for the shoes

Aaaah, shoes that fail to be waterproof
I managed to avoid the rain for my walk today, and also got back to my car in the evening
just before it started bucketing down!

It was raining early in the morning here at some point at least, then later when I looked outside about 2PM, the whole road seemed like a river, which means it must have been lashing for a while beforehand. I'm glad I wasn't out in that.

And then here I am with sunshine again. When can I have at least one month here that's entirely NOT sunny?

It's been pretty cold this morning so far. According to my phone it's 8 degrees, and the idea my clock with the temperature read my room as 18 degrees despite the window and door being closed also makes that clear. It doesn't feel that cold though, which is probably because the heating came on for half an hour (despite the clock saying it's that cold). Usually it's about 20-21 in here (or stupidly high like 25-28 on unbearably hot summer days).

It's much colder than usual today. Perfect time for me to go on a walk.

It’s up and down a lot here now. Supposedly we will have a few days as high as 15 degrees Celsius despite it being November. A lot of wind and rain to accompany that though.

It's cold here now, Florida must have gotten a cold front, I believe. I just snuggle up in my blanket and cuddle my fluffy Quagsire plush. Makes me feel warm and cozy.

It's very very dull out today. It's just looked like it was going to rain for the entire day, and since the ground it wet, it clearly rained at some point. I see that it's forecast to rain for a few hours during the evening. It also rained a lot last night. Aside from that, it kind of got a bit warmer than last week.

Rather chilly, 14° in fact right now. Seems like there’s an on and off drizzle as well.

It's still been fairly warm here. I'm having to keep opening my window. One would expect November to be a lot cooler than it is right now, but I'm sure we'll get the cold eventually.

Great, another winter almost upon us, and we haven't invested in any improvement to our backup power situation. So I guess whatever snowstorm January throws at us will leave us freezing our backsides in the dark again
