< is not sure - the iPhone 5 had a hideous conceptual design; it was nothing short of banana-shaped! This one, however, is thin as paper and overall monolithic in appearance. < can see how that can have certain appeal.

< dislikes Apple's management though. Getting angry with Google and making a whole new maps system is just silly, especially if it starts telling you that Berlin is on Antartica and a lovely city in Australia is in the middle of a deadly desert (to the dismay of many close-shave survivors). Also, its way of handling synchronisation pisses < off. If < gets a smartphone at some point (< is still very very happy with <'s phone from 2008 that basically just is an awesome recording machine but nothing else fancy), it's most likely going to be Android.
