It's basically a platformer with RPG elements, in where you have a party system with leveling and skill trees. So I would say yes, it is similar to Paper Mario in that sense, but there is quite a bit more platforming. You also get to find and craft gems and add their effects to your weapons. So there's also a lot of strategy involved when you apply those effects to enemies in battle.

Just 100%'d the Story Mode in NSMBU. It didn't take as long as I thought, since I thought I had missed more Star Coins than I actually did.

I'll move on to the Challenges and Boost Rush soon, then I'll buy NSLU soon after that.

Sounds somewhat similar to Mario & Luigi Partners in Time and I loved the storyline. To be honest, that was the only element that kept me playing this game.

I still own that game but never completed it. Princess Shroob's sister is super hard to defeat.

Whew, I've been playing online with Rayfist a lot lately. In Left 4 Dead 2, we've been attempting to play through the extraordinarily difficult Expert mode:

I also just started Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on XOne today, it's surprisingly good. I kind of wish that I'd picked the hard difficulty since the game itself isn't very hard, and I really like a challenge, but that's my own fault. The mechanics are extremely fluid and dynamic, probably some of the best I've ever felt in a game, and they give you the freedom to explore every ledge and corner of every environment. I love actually having a jump button, it's what makes this game almost a bit more of a puzzle-platformer.

Hmm, I got L4D2 as a freebie some time ago, but can't play it due to my laptop being underpowered, perhaps when I get that replacement laptop I can play it and figure it out.

Assassin's Creed IV. This was definitely a good starting point, even if there won't be much of a continuation. I'm not too hot on the stealth gameplay or the future nonsense, but the sailing, ship combat and treasure hunting is all great. If they ever make an unrelated pirate game series out of this, I'm definitely on board!

How are you liking Borderlands 2 so far Ads? Did you play the first one? I personally think Borderlands 2 is a very good game, although it will make you hate your friends if you're not a very sharing person. xD

The first one wasn't actually that mad, but the sequeal 'Harvey's new Eyes' is just utterly madness! You play as a innocent little girl in a convent School. The first chapter is all about escaping that school, by killing almost everyone there .

Yeah, what Adsolution said. Some really awesome games in L4D lately... didn't know you had those old photos from Saints Row saved, lol.

Anyways I'ma gonna start recording our L4D sessions a bit more frequently to capture any moment in case something awesome happens.

Been playing Trine 2 with Jona lately, this game is loads of fun! If only RO and RL had online coop as well.

My friend remembered the Pokemon Red Lavender town glitch where you can get Mew to appear. We caught Mew, and he's also caught a Magmar. I'm looking forward to our shared team of glitch obtained Pokemon ;D It's sure gonna be interesting! We get 3 slots each so it's fair.

It's actually very interesting playing Pokemon as a pair. Has anyone ever tried that before?

Just started playing Wind Waker HD, my first Zelda game, hope it's a good one.

I've started getting into Minecraft again after a few months.
