Just out of curiosity, have you ever played Metroid, Haruka?

So far I only tried out the original NES game and the DS Demo of Prime Hunters, but I am interested in trying out the GameCube game.

Ah, Metroid Prime, the First Person Adventure game, as some call it. I think it's usually this or Super Metroid that are fan favourites, so I'd give it a shot.

I just found the NES game confusing in terms of orientation, but I believe that to complete it I would need to use a guide. It must be like the original Zelda: it is practically impossible to complete it by yourself.

Try out the Zero Mission remake, it gives hints and has a map system to help you get around.

Huh... that is identical to this guy:

When he did it, it was a diamond level score though...

He probably played in the morning then, but many people got equal or better scores than him, and like that loosing the Diamond.

I know there aren't preset times since when I played the Xtreme Challenge in this morning, I had Gold, but in the afternoon I had silver, but managed to get Gold again.

It mostly depends of the number of people that play the challenges and their results.

Yeah, the leaderboard system is kind of dick-ish at times. You must keep your scores really high for as long as you can, or someone else will take your place. It's a cool incentive to keep playing. Hopefully, I won't lose my Diamond Cup from the Weekly Challenge, otherwise, I'll fucking go apeshit.

I also don't want my Diamond cup to disappear, neither my Gold one that it took me a good while to get in the Xtreme Challenge :boon:.

EDIT: Got Diamond in Weekly Challenge, got Gold in the Daily Challenge, got Silver in the Daily Xtreme Challenge asdfghj aaaaa.

Did you get enough points for level 4?

Now playing the extreme daily challenge. I haven't even tried the weekly challenge, it's exactly the same as yesterday's daily.

Almost, yes. I've noticed the issue that I feared: The level design is getting repetitive. It's still fun because, well, the point is to collect Lums in an exact pattern or avoid obstacles for as long as you can or as fast as you can.... but you know, some obstacles are being repeated over and over, and at some point the patterns will probably become boring to some people. I hope the final version of the game has more obstacle variations and maybe some new levels to try. I think 4 levels is not enough for an entirely replayable online experience... maybe 7 or 8.

Yeah, I think the same :( I hope this doesn't get as repetitive as it seems to be getting!

Haruka, I just beat you in the extreme daily :) Only by a tiny but though.

I haven't seen the Dojo or the Infinite Tower yet. I've seen today's Extreme Challenge takes place in the Infinite Tower, so I'll try it out later

Now only the main theme is missing :hap:
And here it is! I'm hearing some variation to the Infinite Tower's version, though. If nothing else, the vocals are missing.
