^is not a softy < can remember < was crying for hours when < finished red rescue team (< was 11 or something back then)

< watched the original Sonic the Hedgehog series when < was younger, and < thought it was actually fantastic. It was pretty dark, epic, and best of all, it took itself seriously.

That's the one. < knows that a lot of people thoroughly disliked the show, but < personally doesn't understand most of the reasoning. When the Nostalgia Critic did a review on this show, < completely agreed with him in almost every regard, including his view on the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog.

And to expand on Adventures, I thought that show was absolutely awful. It's nonsensical - and not in the classic Spongebob kind of way -, the voice actors are annoying, the animation is an utter eyesore, and during each episode, I had no idea what the hell was going on. Maybe that was the intent, but to me it looked more like an utter failure in every regard. I would consider it to be one of the worst cartoons I have ever seen.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog should have been called Adventures of Robotnik. Robotnik dicking around was the only somewhat good thing in this show.
About Sonic Underground, < especially liked the idea of Sonic being the son of a queen. < thought that Aleena was a great mother character. But for the love of pudding, who came up with the idea of making this a MUSICAL? With SONIC singing?!?
