Woah. You're like some wizard for that simple explanation.

Re: Rayman 2
Well, I guess we do.
Re: Rayman 2
Nope, I like that cover too! It's just Rayman's tomato juice hair and weird cheeks that bother me.Bradandez wrote:I'M ALL ALONE WITH MY UNPOPULAR OPINION! XD
Re: Rayman 2
Rayman in the cover art does look very off. Especially his expression. Some members say it's a sneer but no way does it look like that. I can't even describe what expression he's trying to make! I just really like the colors on this one and the odd Rayman model. Sure the original artwork is better designed, but hey, I like this one as much as the previously mentioned original.

Hmm, this poll has done quite well, actually. I'm half-tempted to put on like polls for the other games.
Re: Rayman 2
Go for it! I'm also interested on which versions of the other games do members prefer.

Well, Rayman 3 is the same across all consoles, so there won't be a big difference there.Master wrote:Hmm, this poll has done quite well, actually. I'm half-tempted to put on like polls for the other games.

Re: Rayman 2
True, but there are some nuances here and there. If anything else, people might have a preference in their control schemes.

Re: Rayman 2
Just starting up a Rayman 2 game on my new machine. Could someone please post their 'HDified' ubi.ini settings for me? That would be awesome. Also, if that's necessary, my screensize is 1920x1080.

Re: Rayman 2
I happen to like Skyrim, but I'll admit, I've not played the previous TES games, so that might be contested in the future.
As for the HD settings, note that Rayman 2 PC doesn't do widescreen, even if forced into widescreen, as you can see: http://youtu.be/eL5xSbWxKLo?t=1m14s
With that in mind, I've set this Ubi.ini at 1440x1080, I think that's the correct 4:3 resolution at that size, but it's easily changed anyways.

Re: Rayman 2
That's why some people prefer DC instead PC version, and even lighting issues doesn't convince me. Just Widescreen native support.
Still, I don't know If XP fixes graphical glitches at nullDC.
This discussion has some incorrect assumptions.
The best version of R2 is Revolution, no doubt. But if you already played R2, play DC, because it has the best graphic.
If you're still interested, next you can play PSX because it has a little other content of game. That's it.
No suprise that PS2 wins at poll.

Re: Rayman 2
I'd like to get my hands on a PS2 some time so I can play Revolution properly instead of through an emulator. I wonder if that'll counteract the severe lags I had when I played on my other computer. Or maybe I just should try playing it on this one. I don't know, but having the box here but not being able to play it seems a bit silly.
That didn't work, unfortunately, Master. It keeps resetting my screensize to 640x480, even though the INI remains unchanged. Does anyone know what's going on here? I thought Adsolution had been through similar issues and had to fiddle with some settings...?

Re: Rayman 2
Hang on a second, how does the GOG version play in widescreen? I know it does, because of the Jano jaws glitch.

It doesn't, I've got the GoG version here, and it shows up like on that video.

Re: Rayman 2
Every screensize above 640x480; I've had that glitch ever since I had a larger monitor than that, way before I went into widescreen. I'm kind of sad it happens, because it completely breaks the tension of that whole scene.PluMGMK wrote:Waitwaitwait, then what causes the jaws glitch?

Old computer, or you haven't changed anything in emulator's settings.I wonder if that'll counteract the severe lags I had when I played on my other computer.

Native version looks just ugly, anyway.
Set 2x native in GDSX settings. You will not regret.
You're sure of that? This is not just stretching? Can you send some screen?GOG version play in widescreen
Is this exist only in GOG version?Waitwaitwait, then what causes the jaws glitch?![]()
Whether GOG version is passable through Top of The World level and Sanctuary of Rock and Lava?
I asking about Insert CD glitch.

Re: Rayman 2
The No CD problem is completely eradicated in the GoG version, you can play the whole game just fine. What we're talking about here is a graphical quirk, it's nothing game-breaking, but it does detract a little given the effect that it affects.
