The Longest Shortcut seems to be like marmite. You either love it or hate it. I love it.

I hated that level. Invisible platforms FTL.

Thankfully the Ly statue made up for it.

I love the Longest Shortcut. I haven't seen the Ly statue with my own eyes, but I know where it is and how to access it now, so I'm going to check that out the next time I play R3.

My order:
Level Reasons are included in brackets
1.The Hoodlum Heaquarters (so intresting and top secret)
2.The Desert of the Knarran (the first fight against Reflux)
3. The Land of the Living Dead (quite intreasting)
4.The Clearleaf Forest (Rayman's perfect place to live with Globox!)
5.The Summit beyond the Clouds (intreasting and fun)
6.The tower of the leptys (challenging)
7.The bog of Murk (Begoniax's house, some areas elsewhere and Razoff's mansion)
8.The fairy council (a little intreasting)
9.The longest Shortcut (boring and only had the slightest fun. But it had nice secret areas(just like the other levels!))

xenon, you forgot #9.

and with the longest shortcut, i like the scenery, but the level really frustrates me.
anyway, because we're all making lists, it seems:
1. land of the livid dead
2. tower of leptys
3. desert of the knaaren
4. clearleaf Forest
5. the bog of murk
6. the summit beyond the clouds
7. the fairy council
8. hoodlum headquarters
9. the longest shortcut
although 4-8 interchange frequently

I love the fact that this game has secret areas. I sometimes treat Rayman games like a tour guide-especially this one!

I used to hate that level too.
It was dark and had too many Knaarens. I feel differently about it now, though.

I don't say it is bad. However, other places are more awesome in my opinion.

It's a shame that there aren't other scenic levels. I'd picture a mountainous valley with woodland and river systems. Maybe that's too much to ask for.

Land of the Livid Dead is by far my favourite level. I haven't actually finished the game, though, so I haven't got much to go on.
