Would you pay more taxes if it meant receiving a pension when you retire?

Yes, the state should guarantee a pension for its citizens.

Yes, but a mixed model would be more efficient (50% state + 50% private pension plan, for example).

No, the state does not have to manage my money; I prefer to have it myself and opt, for example, for a private pension plan.

I'd say stuff like Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, PSP, Nintendo DS and PS Vita would be the main ones. I'm not sure if you'd count Nintendo Switch as handheld or not.

Right, to try to make it fair, I've included (almost) everything from Nintendo and Sony, and an "Other" option. Let's see how it turns out!

I voted for Nintendo 3DS since it's the only handheld console I tried. I remember playing so much SSB4 on that thing. It was awesome. :nostalgic:

I'd choose Nintendo DS since it has been a lot more memorable for me since I enjoyed playing New Super Mario Bros., Super Mario 64 DS and Mario Kart DS.

I like the DS games in general as well.

I'm going with the PSP. Although I like just about everything in the list, the PSP brings me back to my young teenage years. It had a great game library, and for its time, it was pretty amazing that it had Wi-Fi and an internet browser. I used to think I was great using it to download emulators and roms then transferring them to my PC to play them. I also loved downloading pictures on it, just because it had a photo viewer and I could. :P

That 32MB Memory Stick that was included with mine though, very small.

The Game Boy Advance has my vote. I spent much of my childhood on my GBA, whether it be playing Pokemon Gold, having fun with Super Mario Advance (and its sequels which oddly enough aren't in the right order), etc, so that handheld is special to me. :hap:

As much as I loved the Game Boy in my younger years and still do, I just have so many good memories with the PSP. It was a tough choice.

The Game Boy Advance, definitely, for the same reasons as Jonster.

Pokémon was my childhood, I'm so stuck between Game Boy and PSP that I just didn't even know what to do.

Well, once again I'm a week behind on my update. Uh, sorry. :oops2: I don't know what it is about updating this thing that makes me procrastinate so much…

I'll say only in extreme circumstances. There are some very sick twisted individuals in the world that will never be sane enough to change. A couple of years in prison won't stop them from doing it again once they're freed. Although they're not killing people, they're literally ruining their lives.

Death penalty is appropiate. It is reasonable to enable that.

There are various criminals out there who think that prison is a life that they are gonna have and that gives them an excuse or the mind to do more crimes when they are maybe released or even still held in prison. Prison will just make those people stay on the bad side. There are instances of misbehaviour happening in Prisons. With death penalties, they SHOULD be scared to do anything wrong. Guys likes these don't even sit down and think about what they did and realize it is the wrong thing. They just decide to ruin others' lives and I must say the world is better off without them!

Sh!t. I think I sounded like Donald Trump there.

5 votes – well, nobody voted that it should be used more often anyway!

The next one may seem random, but I didn't know the Snipping Tool existed until quite recently, and I'm surprised at how much easier it's made my work life. Still, it's only now that I figured out how to put slurp and grim together to avoid opening GIMP to post poll results…

Almost daily myself, I always want to capture part of the screen without using an entire screenshot and it just saves time instead of having to save a screenshot then crop it. I use it a lot for Discord also.

Now, I wonder who's using it once in a blue moon…

Anyway, the next poll is kind of a security-minded one. I should probably be doing more of those…
When I say "Javascript as used on the modern web", I refer to the fact that any website can include arbitrary code, and by default all major browsers automatically download and execute it without asking (albeit with some sandboxing).

Very few takers here…

Anyway, as for the Rayman thread, I've switched the results in the first post to img tags. Give me a shout if that's a problem. :fou:

As for the next poll, any suggestions?

Maybe we can have a poll about "Are humans to blame for certain animal extinctions?"..

We could, even though I'm pretty sure that the yes will have a straight victory, I'm not aware of any counterarguments.

What would be the options then, simply yes and no?
